Oaktail still was confined to the medicine den. His body was starting to get soar from not being able to move around. He missed going on patrols and hunting for his clan. His stomach roared with hunger as no one bright him food for a while like he was forgotten.

Redfeather walked out of the nursery and went to find Nightgaze.

Reedheart led Tallpaw back to camp and told her to put the mouse in the prey pile, then grabbed a piece of prey himself, a plump Vole, then headed to the medicine den, peeping in to see if Oaktail was awake yet," Hey, Oaktail, you awake? I've got a vole here if you want to share it with me." He asked slowly padding in.

Oaktail lifted his head and smiled at Reedheart, "thank you Reedheart. I'd love to share a vole with you." He slightly moved his body into a more comfortable position. "What have you been up to, I haven't seen you for a while."

Reedheart smiled back and brought the vole over to him, placing it as close to him as possible so he didn't have to strain his muscles," Well, me and Stormtail are mates, he almost died as he ran into a rock but he's alright now, and I was just showing Tallpaw how to hunt becuase her mentor Owlwing isn't around it seems." Reedheart explained sitting down put his tail over his paws.

Oaktail took a bite and nodded and then swallowed his bite before he continued to talk. "That is good, not when Stormtail hit his head but the other stuff. Are you and Stormtail thinking about having a family one day?" He tilted his head slightly at Reedheart.

Reedheart was slightly embarrassed and shuffled his paws," Well, yes... We'd have to take care of someone else kit though... And I think that's kind of... Mean? Let's say, becuase you can't take kits away from their birth parents..." He explained as he looked over towards the Nursery.
