Edit: i think i need to hoard the desert cammies ♡ got a friend deployed soooo.. or i could hoard them all and dress my camo dogs?? Lol

I started this hoard back in 2013, when they were released, and I'm up to 622 now.
I have other hoards, with other species, but this one is my fave <3
surprisingly it's the hardest one to get too. People always seem to dislike rats, but when it comes to trading them, they dissappear .D.

I hoard all rats (i hit 20k last week) but also have a few hoards of separate litters/outcomes

Holy cow (rat?) 20,000 rats is a heck of a lot.

Do you think rats are a lot easier to hoard than any other species?

hey i have a lot of these rats from the same litter but idk if youre hoarding different colors or not but i do have some purple rats feel free to trade for them if youd like! (i used to hoard these rats haha)

The thing with actively trying to trade for pets that are usually not very popular or sought after is that people know it'll be hard to trade them off, but since you do want them, they're often hoping that perhaps you'll be willing to pay better.
I only have 12 rat hoards (16 if you count misc hoards that include rats). The hardest ones to find for me were actually from the same litter that Loui. is hoarding:

I only wanted 30 of them originally, but they were proving pretty bothersome to find, so I capped the hoard at 20 instead.

Another one I didn't think would be this hard to get were these:

Maybe it's because they were advent calendar outcomes, but it took me long enough to get 70, and it's far from the goal I wanted to set at first - 200. I don't know if I was just naive about them back then, but I honestly didn't think it'd be a problem to get hundred or so.

Rats are surprisingly hard to hoard! I only have one, my devil rats from October 2010 (which I started hoarding in october 2010). And I know it took me a better part of a year to complete, and I wasn't even looking for the rarer outcomes.

I already have 4 pups dressed up and another 4 that aren't.
It's getting hard to trade for those type of pups, let alone just the Navy Camo.
But, I am determined to get at least 100 of these guys - they mean so much to me. <3
