Don't give up - it is from 2011 after all, so it might be a bit harder to find them in trade groups. But I bet once you find them, they should be relatively easy to trade for. *crosses fingers* =)

surprisingly it's the hardest one to get too. People always seem to dislike rats, but when it comes to trading them, they dissappear .D.

surprisingly it's the hardest one to get too. People always seem to dislike rats, but when it comes to trading them, they dissappear .D.

I hoard all rats (i hit 20k last week) but also have a few hoards of separate litters/outcomes

I do hoard some rats right and left. =)
If I counted right, I've got 65/672 rat hoards. So about every 10th hoard is actually a rat hoard!

Trading for rats is like "oh they are on your wishlist, they must be worth 100 times more than usual". =|

I feel that so much!
Back when I actively hoarded these cuties ... it was ... not good.
People really wanted an arm and a leg for Common Rats. Common Rats.
I just pick them up from the Pound now, when I see them
I don´t bother trading for them anymore, because that´s just a hassle xD

Agreed! I went out to grab some common rats for my sister's hoard, to surprise her, but suddenly everyone just "loved rats so much". Even people who said they hated rats and didn't want them wouldn't trade them for overpay.

there for a while they were.. I get a quite a few of them through buying unwanted pets. lately they have gotten more popular and I have seen people asking for overpay for some reason (even if I am offering a popular species/within 3 month swap, I have had people asking for more)

I agree with Raire - people seem to be like "omg. it's on your wishlist? overpay me with my wishlist pets!" whereas even just a few months ago I could do a wishlist for wishlist swap OR a same month/rarity dog or cat.. even people who have "dont trade me rats" in their trade rules seem to think because I want them, I should overpay
