xxxxxKendal stared for a few more moments before turning away, "Okay," was all she said before falling silent. She closed her eyes, trying to get even a little bit of rest before she has to work in the mines. Typically she would have been back about an hour before the sun started rising, but somehow, she lost track of time, and when she realized the time, it was too late. She was lucky to have made it back before the guards, maybe it was the rain that make the guards advance slower, or it was the adrenaline, but she was glade to have made it back.
