mottlepad was born on a cold leaf-
-bare night with her brother, oakstep.
she grew up rather normally, mentored
by a handsome blue tom named gale-
-thorn, whom she fell in love with.
after she received her warrior name,
they became mates, and a few moons
later, blessed with the wonderful news
that they were expecting kits. a
quarter-moon before her kits were
to be born, galethorn was hit by a
monster on a patrol. the news was
hard for her, but she continued to
have an optimistic outlook, determined
to raise her kits the best she could
alone. when oakstep was exiled from
the clan, it broke her heart--she does
not believe he is truly evil, and stands
by him even now. she is a good-hearted,
meek and optimistic creature, who
keeps an even head and cheerful out-
-look at all times.

morning with her two brothers,

her father was killed, she was
extremely sad, but seems to
have suffered less over it than
