Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

The sun was high only a few hours before the clan had been somewhat peaceful now, it was full of nervous wrecks. A few cats stood leaning side to side, others looked to the ground. Those who still had hope looked to the sky. after a minute or two the cats had settled. Winterstar closed his eyes as he spoke "Hazelpaw." He said breaking the short lived silence. "You must leave" He could no longer bring himself to accuse people when we wasn't even sure himself.

They young apprentice looked away from the blue sky that seemed to dance with the sun. Looking her leader in the eyes she blinked as reality hit her she had to leave. She bowed her head, "may I please say goodbye to everyone" The cat did not care what the others thought this was her home even though she may have to leave they were her family. She treated this event with such a smile that the world no longer felt as dismal. "Goodbye Hazlepaw" cats chimed.

As the apprentice neared the edge of the clan still smiling she turned to face her family "I'll see you all very soon! I promise I'll be back when the killer is found and we can be just as happy as we were before. I know many of you think I'm the killer but It if it makes you feel better believe that, as long as you are happy!" The cat then ran out of the clearing leaving the clan bewildered the apprentice's words lingered in the air as the cats whispered to each other.

The apprentice walked through the forest for a night and a day. Hoping to find the border to Thunderclan. She was almost at the Thunderclan, the sky was dark and it was hard to see. Unknown to poor Hazelpaw a rouge cat had seen her through the darkness. The rouge jumped on the cat and the apprentice was close to death. The next morning a patrol from Thunderclan found the apprentice, dead resting in the cold air.

How sad another cat dead, will you be able to avenge the lives of the fallen cats before its to late? Tick-Tok Riverclan.

Cloverface had been worried since the first death she had seen a glimps of the killer, and she had sworn they had seen her to. She had seen a flash of peircing brown eyes along with a small flash of white that seemed to fade into the dark. She stood by the warriors den watching the sun go down hoping to confirm her suspicions.

A cat walked up to the warrior just as the sun went down. looking at the cat she knew she was dead meat. "Come with me" Cloverface said before the killer could say a thing, walking towards the forest. The killer followed. Soon they reached a part of the forest thick with trees. The killer hid behind one of the trees. "I know you killed those cats" Cloverface called out. "you really think it was me?" The killer said creeping up behind Cloverface. "Yes" Cloverface said walking forwards. There they were by a cliff face with a drop down to the howling watery abyss below. Tears were welling up in cloverfaces eyes her strong act crumbling. "I refuse to die to the paws of such a monsterous cat." Cloveface spat, the killer kept walking forcing the warrior closer to the edge. "Oh really now" Cloverface gulped her paws and chest tensing up. "With no where to run you seem quite stuck" Cloverface gave a nod then jumped for an attack. The killer moved with skill leaving the warrior to fall to the ground a few inches from the edge. "How would you rather die? Water or claws?" Cloverface looked up at the cat staring at they're dark eyes, full of joy slightly squinted from an almost unearthly smile. "Water" Cloverface whispered standing up. She turned her face towards the cold howls of the rushing water. placing one paw over the ledge she shifted her weight tumbling head first into the gorge. Her eyes closed tight.

Sweetpaw

Sweetpaw didn't know how he got their, sitting in front of the river's edge like it was a normal day in camp. He was all alone, out hunting he supposed, wasn't really sure. The apprentice never really knew what was going on at the best of times and now, well, now he had just decided to let his paws take him where they would. Today it was to the river bank, the soft one with grass that sank into the sand, red grass. But that didn't make sense, why was the grass red? Squinting intently, it didn't take long for him to figure it out, some cat had died.

"DEWLEAF! BRAMBLINGFLOWER! BRING OUT YOUR KIT!"

badgerfrost's yowl of anger split the quiet in the clearing, and the deputy stalked towards the nursery, eyes burning with rage, face twisted with sorrow. "bring out her out, right now!" the she-cat bared her teeth, claws unsheathed, and her tail lashed with her rage.

cloverface had said it. she had seen it. the killer, with beady brown eyes and white and brown coat. at first, badgerfrost had not believed it--now, it was all clear. she had sat at the edge of camp, observing, watching, waiting. when she had seen cloverface leave, she had seen her speaking to another cat. it all made sense. each kill was an ambush, done so that littlekit could overcome her small size. she was due to be made an apprentice, and with her wits could easily manage the other apprentices. to think that such a little creature could be capable of such horrifying actions...

Nightheart jumps awake, hearing badgerfrosts yelling. He quickly walks out of the medicine den, looking at the warrior strangely "what in the name of starclan are you yelling about?" he asked annoyed "you'll wake the whole clan! And what does littlekit have to do with this?!"

Winterstar looked up, hearing commotion. Had they exiled the wrong cat? He padded outside. "What's going on? Badgerfrost, what are you yelling about?" Winterstar meowed, approaching the tom.

immediately, the deputy whipped around, her eyes filled with fire, her expression twisted with anguish. "cloverface is dead." she meowed roughly, her voice hoarse with sorrow. "we exiled the wrong cat--the right one has been under our noses all this time. that thing in our nursery has been killing under our noses this whole time!"

Littlemoon's eyes fluttered open grudgingly, frowning as he was awoken by more yells- this time by Badgerfrost. He blinked and got to his paws, tail swaying cautiously from side to side as he exited the medicine den. "Badgerfrost, what is going on? Why are you making such a racket?!"
At her next words, his blood ran cold. "Littlekit?!" he scoffed. "You're joking…"

At her stern, angered gaze, his scoffed smile faltered and he dropped his ears, his tail going limp against the ground. "You're... you're not kidding, are you?"

Nightheart looks at them all shocked "you really think a kit would do all of these murders?! Why would littlekit kill her denmate foxkit?!" he looks at badgerfrost like he's crazy
