No more wolves that have 'joined' the pack. Or it will be made of Half-Bloods. ^^; This wasnt for loners to form together, it was really for 'untied kin'. But thanks, anyways. :3

[RULES]

    1) No fighting in OOC, period.
    2) This is Semi-Lit, so I can kick you out if you cant get your act together.
    3) Please do a girl for every boy, or vise-versa. I want this even.
    4) No Mary-sues, Gary-sues, or Godmodding, IE making your character super awesome at everything, there is nothing good about a character like that and everyone hates it, whatever rank you decide to excel in is your main talent. Violence is encouraged, I don't really care how graphic you get [but dont get to the point your banned, or in trouble], just keep it realistic. Do not kill or seriously injure/disfigure without permission. Mind reading is also an annoying habit many roleplayers have, this means just because some characters know something about someone or something that does not mean your character should automatically know about it.
    5) Respect any Mod/Minimod that comes here. I dont need disrespect.
    6) No wolves with wings, or unnatural colors and such. This is to be realistic.
    7) Swearing is tolerable, just don't go crazy, we don't want to offend anyone.
    8) Write in third person ONLY, exceptions may be memory scenes or dreams, thinking etc etc.
    9) For now you are allowed a maximum of 6 characters, you may not join as a high ranking wolf, you must prove your worth in the RP, the highest you can automatically be in is a member of the guard. If one of your characters makes it to a high status it is unlikely your other characters will make it past a guard status, to keep things fair. If you wish to have more than 6 characters you may ask me, if I feel you are active enough to handle more I will allow it. Try to avoid using common human names for your character, such as Michael, James, etc etc.
    10) I would strongly prefer if species of wolves such as Maned Wolves and Ethiopian wolves were kept out of this RP, as our setting sets us far apart. I also will not accept dogs into the pack, a wolf/dog hybrid may be accepted but keep in mind a wolfdog is not as strong as a pure bred wolf, they will most likely not make it as part of the guard, keep in mind character limitations while creating your character.
    11) lease be aware of how your character will act regarding his/her age, particularly the elderly. In real life it is rare for a wild wolf to live past the age of nine, the oldest I will accept is twelve, but if you choose to be that old your character is considered 'Ancient' and thus will likely have health issues and be close to death.
    12) I may add/change rules as we go, if you have any questions or concerns do not be shy about bringing them to my attention, banners, maps, art and suggestions are welcome! I am even up to hearing new rank options! Have fun!
    13) NEW: Please include Your wolf's name and rank in EVERY POST!

Alpha pair

The Alpha pair are the leaders of the pack, the male is often a little more dominant over the female, but not always. The Alphas are the ones to make the rules of the pack and are often the ones to enforce it. The Alphas are usually the ones to accept or deny new wolves, though they may pass the responsibility off to another wolf of high status. In many packs the Alpha pair are the only two that are allowed to have pups but with permission others may breed but it is always up to the Alpha pair. The Alpha pair are always the first the eat, their pups are always fed before others, if there is a shortage of food. The Alphas make all the decisions, call meetings and have the final say on promotions and demotions, if someone disobeys the Alphas they may be faced with punishments, banishments or even death.

E l i t e S t a t u s

Beta

The Beta is the wolf placed in second in command, this wolf is usually born into the pack and are old and wise enough to make good decisions. The beta is always chosen by both the Alpha female and male, once they are in agreement the wolf chosen for the position is brought in front of the pack where everyone will either howl their approval or stay silent. In the event of the pack staying silent the chosen wolf must step down and resume their previous role in the pack. In the absense of the Alphas, the Betas are the ones to run the pack. The Betas are given the power to accept or deny new wolves, they are also able to punish wrong doers but are unable to chase wolves out of the pack, nor are the permitted to kill unless it's absolutely necessary. In the event of the Beta taking a mate the wolf he/she has chosen will not be recognized as a Beta but usually holds a certain amount of authority. In rare cases the Alphas may allow the wolf mated to the Beta to become another Beta and share the responsibility of their mate, but in normal circumstances there may only be one Beta.

Gamma

The Gamma wolf acts as an advisor for the Alphas and Betas, and usually hold a respected title over the rest of the pack. They may have done something very honourable to make the Alphas choose them for this position. The Gammas are often chosen to decide punishments for minor offences, usually dealing with younger wolves. Gammas are usually wise, older wolves that have proven themselves to be mature, honest and fair. The Gammas are the third to eat and are usually allowed to mate. In a pack there is usually four Gammas, two male and two female, the two pairs are usually mated but that's not always the case. The Gammas are able to accept new wolves as Outsiders or deny any that they feel are a threat. They are not to demote any wolves for wrong doings but rather place them as Stained Wolves and confine them to a den until the Alphas or Beta have time to deal with the problem.

T h e V a n g u a r d

The Vanguard are wolves placed in charge of each position of the guard. The Zeta, Delta, Sigma and Shaman. These wolves have proven to be the best in the field they have chosen to be part of, they are mature, strong and loyal to the pack and are highly respected among the pack. These wolves are usually allowed to mate and have pups and they are allowed to eat alongside the Gammas, after the Alpha and Beta. There may only be one Elite Guard for each field but it isn't uncommon for the Elite to choose a wolf to be a sort of 'second in command' but the rank is not formal or recognized amongst the Alphas. The Elite guard have the ability to accept new wolves as Outsiders or deny those who they feel is a threat, they may also punish wrong doers with confinement to a den and/or place them as Stained Wolves until the Alphas or Beta sees to the issue.

Zeta Warrior: The Zeta Warrior is the wolf in charge of the Warriors, they are usually larger male wolves though it isn't unheard of for females to be the Zeta. The Zeta is responsible for training Warrior Novies and plan attacks when needed.

Delta Hunter: The Delta hunter is the wolf put in charge of the main hunting party. The Delta has proven they are the fastest and most skilled when it comes to hunting, the Delta leads each hunt with the hunters and train the Hunter Novies.

Sigma Scout: The Sigma scout is the lead tracker in the pack, they must be swift, agile and clever as they are often asked to spy on rival packs. The Sigma leads patrols of the territory and are often chosen to be second in command in major hunts.

Shaman: The Shaman is the lead Healer, this wolf must be exceptionally experienced in the ways of healing and have a good knowledge of herbs and how the body and mind work. The Shaman is often an older female wolf, but not always. The Healers all follow the Shaman and come to her/him for guidance and advice, the Shaman is also respected as a counsellor and often helps the Gammas in decision making among wrong doers.

G u a r d

The guard is a group of wolves that have proven they are loyal, brave and strong. At two years of age each wolf is asked what part of the guard the may want to be part of, Warrior, Hunter, Scout or Healer. Once they have chosen which part of the guard they wish to be in they will be asked to preform a task to prove they have what it takes to excel in the guard. If they succeed they will become Novies, which means in training. Once a Novie turns three they are usually full members of the guard.

Warrior
The warriors are the protectors of the pack, usually large built wolves it is up to them to protect the pack against all threats. Not only must Warriors be strong physically but mentally as well, they must be prepared to kill another wolf, if need be and die for their pack. The Warriors are led by one wolf called The Zeta.

Hunter
The hunters are wolves the excel in hunting. Although all other able bodied wolves are allowed to hunt it takes a special amount of skill and talent to make it into this part of the guard, hunters are always the first choice when it comes to catching prey. The hunters are led by one wolf called The Delta.

Scout
The Scouts are the wolves put in charge of patrolling the territory and chasing off any threats, such as coyotes, cougars and other dangerous creatures. Scouts are also used as spies in times of war and territory battles, they are usually crafty and sly wolves with great speed and stamina. Alphas may even use Scouts to spy on certain wolves they fear may be up to no good in their own pack. The Scouts are led by one wolf called The Sigma.

Healer
A healer is a wolf with knowledge in both the body and mind of a wolf, they also know how to 'heal' wolves using natural ingredients from the forest. Healers are often very wise and spiritual and are highly respected among the pack. The 'Shaman' is the equivalent to a doctor, the Healers the nurses, they go to the Shaman for advice and many times to diagnose a wolf.

High ranking wolves

P r o v i d e r

A provider is basically a pupsitter. A provider is usually a female, they are trusted members of the pack and are trusted to watch the pups while their parents or busy, they are even trusted to watch the Alpha's pups. Providers are so in tuned with the motherly instinct they can often lactate for pups, even if they are not their own or have never had pups in their life. During the breeding season, Providers are rarely asked upon to do any chores or other duties among the pack and are usually served high quality food. Not every wolf can make it as a Provider, the wolf must be exceptionally patient and gentle but able to dish out appropriate punishments for wrong doers. Though Providers are rarely allowed to bare their own pups, in fear of them being biased over their own, it is not uncommon for Providers to adopt orphaned pups, they are usually the first to ask in such a situation. Though the Providers don't hold much authority over others they are highly valued and respected among the pack.

N o v i e

A Novie is a wolf in training for a specific part of the guard, their title would be whatever they are training for followed by 'Novie.' Example: Warrior Novie, Healer Novie. These wolves are usually two years of age, though it isn't unheard of for older wolves to try and earn a rank in the guard by first training as a Novie. The wolf in training must remain as a Novie for at least a year, though some may be forced to spend an extra season or even year perfecting their skills, if after three years you are unable to prove yourself you will not be able to join the Guard. Novies have no real authority among others, other than being able to assert dominance over middle ranked and low members.

E l d e r

Wolves at the age of eight and beyond are considered elders. These are older wolves that have served their pack loyally, they are now able to spend the remainder of their lives in safety and comfort. They are often served high quality foods and may even be allowed to eat alongside the highest ranking wolves, depending on their relationship. Elders may also be trusted to pupsit pups, especially in the absence of Providers. Though some may be grumpy, all must be respectful of them.

Middle ranked.

P a c k M e m b e r s

Pack members are wolves that are simply members of the pack without any specific role. Deltas may call upon these wolves to help in hunts, they may be asked to pupsit, in the absence of a Provider, and are generally trusted members of the pack. Once a Yearling becomes the age of two they are accepted as full members and have the option of trying out to become a Novie, though it is not unheard of for wolves to contently stay as simple members for the rest of their lives. Members dont have much authority at all, though may have more 'dominant' members, though their dominance is not recognized by any of the higher ups and may actually be corrected if seen.

Y e a r l i n g

A yearling is a pup that has reached the age of one. Though still considered pups, yearlings are given a few more freedoms, they are allowed to explore the territory, within reason, and begin hunting lessons with their parents. On the event of the pups first birthday they are allowed to go out and try and catch a rabbit, if they succeed they will be praised and be given the privileged of eating before the Alpha's on the next large hunt... This rare treat would likely be one of the highest points for any Yearling. Despite having no authority over anyone, Yearlings will usually have a 'dominant' wolf, this is usually established at a young age.

P u p s

Despite being the youngest and weakest members of the pack, pups are regarded quite highly. Everyone in the pack usually helps to take care of them, the loss of a pup is a tragic time for any pack, it usually takes a pack quite awhile to get over the death of a pup. Pups are given little freedom, they are usually kept around the densite, though they may go on small walks in the company of their parents or Providers. In some packs only the Alpha pair may breed, but it isn't unheard of for Alphas to allow certain members to breed as well. The Alpha's pups are always looked after a little more than others, they are the first to fed in hard times and Providers tend to be a bit more mindful of the Alpha pups. Like Yearlings, there is usually a few more dominant pups, which tend to usually be part of an Alpha litter.

Low ranked

S t a i n e d W o l v e s

Stained wolves are wolves that have done something wrong, whether it be something minor such as growling at a superior or something much more serious such as breeding without permission. The Stained wolf rank is a temporary rank and is often used to punish Yearlings, though the older the wolf the more severe the punishment will be. Every wolf is capable of becoming a Stained wolf other than pups younger than one, Alphas and Omegas. As a Stained Wolf you're often treated similar as a Omega, you're second to last to eat, you're confined to the densite or den and you are often subjected to humiliating attacks and random bites. Once the punishment is over, which varies depending on the offence, the wolf is sometimes allowed to resume their previous role or they may be demoted. If the wolf continues to misbehave as a stained wolf it is very likely they will be chased out from the pack.

O u t s i d e r s

Outsiders are wolves under observation, they have asked to join the pack but have not yet been fully accepted as a member. Outsiders are treated with caution, they are never allowed near pups or sleep in the main den, regardless of the weather, unless the Alphas say otherwise. Despite not being a true member of the pack they are allowed to hang around the densite and sometimes are allowed to go on hunts, to show their worth. An Outsider will often leave and come back baring gifts for the pack, in hopes of being accepted faster, they also tend to remain very submissive and lick at superiors chins, which is a sign of submissive begging. One does not usually stay an Outsider for long, you are either accepted rather quickly or seen as a threat and chased off.

O m e g a

The Omega is the absolute lowest, the wolf placed in this position may of done something very wrong to achieve this rank. The Omega is last to eat and is often not allowed to sleep in the main den with the others. They are sometimes forbidden to leave the densite or may even be confined to a den for long periods of time. Omegas are often subjected to random and pointless acts of aggression, Yearlings are responsible for many unwarranted attacks, as are males during the mating season. Many members of the pack use the Omega as a way to get their anger out, pointless attacks are rarely corrected and Omegas are often seen with bite marks around their rump and muzzle. It is expected of the Omega to remain submissive to everyone, including pups, if they show any ounce of dominance they may be punished by a beating or even chased out of the pack, only the Alpha pair can promote this wolf to something else, there may only be one Omega per pack.
(Understand that the Omega is the only character that is allowed to be auto-hit. By choosing to be the Omega you are agreeing to random, pointless attacks against your character, more info in the rules section.)

O u t c a s t

An outcast wolf is not an actual rank, nor is it an actual part of the pack. To become an outcast wolf you have to do something very, very wrong. When an Alpha decides to outcast a wolf the wolf will receive a severe, sometimes life threatening beating from either the Alphas or sometimes even the entire pack. A special mark will be placed upon the base of their tail, marking them for the rest of their life that they have been outcasted. He or she is then chased away from the pack and off the territory. Usually, this only happens to the Omega, since the Omega wolf is already hanging on by a string, however, it is not unheard of for this severe punishment to unfold upon a middle or even high ranking wolf after they have done something very wrong. An outcasted wolf is now on it's own, living a lonely and uncertain existence. A lot of the times an Outcast wolf will die on its own or it may travel away to try and find a new pack. Although, hope is not always lost for Outcasted wolves. Sometimes, the Outcast wolf may try to stick around the territory and re enter the pack, this may be achieved by acting extremely submissive and apologetic to the Alphas. Even if the Alpha is considering letting the wolf back in they usually continue beating and chasing the outcasted wolf off several times before allowing them back in. Though in time they may be welcomed back into the pack as full members they are likely never to make it into the guard, they are also treated with less respect than others of the same rank.

Note: You can not join the RP as a outcasted wolf. Be warned that it is NOT certain I will allow a Outcasted wolf back into the RP[pack], you may be forced to make a whole new character, it is advised to stay away from this rank.

Postby amato » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:16 am

These are the laws the pack abides by, each wolf is expected to be mindful of them, though rebellions are not uncommon. Please read these rules carefully, if you break any be prepared for the consequences that will likely follow, the breeding rules in particular.

D o m i n a t i o n & S u b m i s s i o n

1. A wolf of higher rank has the right to dominant over other wolves in the following ways;
A soft bite to the muzzle. A wolf may gently place their jaws around another wolf's muzzle in a sign of dominance, it may be used in play or even a sign of affection. Wolves on the receiving end will allow their muzzles to enter the other's mouth and lay their ears back, in a sign of submission
A hard bite to the muzzle, dominant wolves may bite the muzzles of others, this is usually a punishment for those acting out of line.
Sitting on another, when a subordinate rolls over onto its back, in a sign of submission, the dominant of the two may sit or lay on top of the wolf and hold him/her down until he/she feels the subordinate gets the point.
Attacking, a dominant wolf may attack another if they have done something wrong, he/she will usually bite the wolf on the muzzle or rump then force them to roll over, they will then stand over them and snarl aggressively.

2. Wolves caught abusing their authority may be punished by someone of higher rank, no one likes a bully.

3. A rebellious wolf is likely to be assaulted far more often than others.

4. While being dominated Submissive wolves are expected to lower their ears, tails and body in a sign of respect, licking at the dominant wolf's chin is a sign of respect as well, as is rolling over and exposing their belly.

C o u r t s h i p

1. Keep in mind this is a realistic wolf roleplay, that means courtship is to be realistic as well. While it is inevitable to anthropomorphize the characters in this roleplay it is important to know and understand wolves and their behaviour to keep this roleplay realistic. This means do not adopt human courtship rituals, such as bringing bouquet of flowers to the female etc etc.

2. Despite the male being the one to court the female actively, it is usually the female who decides what happens in the relationship.

3. When the two are about to mate, they bond, sleeping close and touching each other more and more. They will approach each other making quiet whining sounds, mouth each others muzzles, touch noses, and bump there bodies together. There may be mutual grooming and nibbling of each other's coats and the two may walk pressed close together. The Male may bow to the female, toss and tilt his head, and lay his legs over her neck in what could only be described as a flirting manner.

4. A male might try to impress a female by hunting her food, he will do everything in his power to show the female he is worthy to pass on his genes. He may also dig her a seperate small den, in hopes she will give birth to his pups in there. This shows her he is serious about their relationship and the well being of their pups.

5. It could take several months before the female takes the male as her mate. Females may also court males, usually just by acting affectionate, nuzzling, whining and acting submissive, but normally it is the male who approaches the female first.

6. If you are not mature enough to follow these rituals I suggest not taking a mate and breeding.

F i g h t i n g

1. Fighting will occur, it is part of wolf life, you may fight over dominance, mates or arguments, the winner of a fight is usually seen as the dominant and will win whatever he/she was fighting for. When two wolves, of the same rank, begin to fight over something the pair are usually left to duke it out unless it becomes too serious. If a lower ranking wolf tries to break up the fight he/she may be scolded or even brought into the physical violence. If a lower ranking wolf attacks a higher ranking wolf he/she may be punished for doing so as direct challenges for rank must be accepted by the Alphas.

2. If an Alpha or wolf of high status steps in it is expected for the fighting wolves to stop.

3. In a fight you will get hurt, it is impossible to dodge everything.

4. Fighting to the death may occur, usually with those outside the pack, you must have permission to kill off anyone.

5. Power playing, auto hitting/dodging will not be tolerated, if I see you doing it you will automatically lose the fight, so be fair.

6. Actually know what you're doing when entering a fight, research it or look up videos if you must.

7. Sparring is a common activity among wolves. These 'play' fights are usually completely harmless but bigger wolves may take it to the next level and actually draw blood. Sparring is a common acitivity among Warriors and males during the breeding season, to try and impress females or blow off steam. Females too have been known to get into rough and tumbles of their own. It is also common and actually encouraged for pups to spar with one another as it helps train them for adulthood and sharpens their hunting and fighting skills.

8. If you do not wish to fight either submit or run off.

H u n t i n g

1. A lone wolf can go out and hunt a small animal such a rabbit or rodents, but they can not go out and take down something large on their own, I would consider this power playing.

2. The Delta is the wolf in charge of the hunt, even if the Alpha(s) are participating, they are the most experienced and skilled when it comes to hunting. In the absence of a Delta the Alpha may place someone else in charge.

3. You are to wait your turn to eat, if you do not then it's likely you wont eat at all.

4. This is the prey list, it will tell you what you can hunt, how abundant it is, how much it will fill you up, how many wolves are needed and how hard it is to hunt it and if you should expect any serious injures, please be mindful of this when out hunting. While hunting certain prey you must meet the number qualifications for that prey item, though more wolves may join, the more you have the easier it will be to take it down.

Name:
Obi
Gender:
Brute ♂
Age:
Seven Years and four months.
Rank:
Shaman
Mate:
None, and he is not the kind to breed. Too old, in fact.
Pups:
None. He is not in favor of pups, nor can he stand them.
History:
Obi is a stubborn, hot-headed, competitive Shaman who is quite the opposite. He has learned from his father; his ways of life. Apparently, as he grew in the pack Obi was a constant Stained Wolf, and he was punished for tings upon things. Never would it cause harm, bit it caused surges in ranks, and competitive fights within the pack. It wasn't ever something big, but it was big enough to give him a good punishment.
Obi grew to be a yearling, no rank then. His duties were to hunt with the Alpha, until he earned his rank. He was never good, actually. His hot-headed personality but in on his work, and he was always inpatient with his prey and pack. He could never get his own food, it was hard for him to catch anything more than a small mammal.
But Obi showed use to the Elderly Shaman, he was actually quite smart within the natural ingredients and herbs, with his memory. It wasn't much to jog his memory, and the Alpha took note of how well Obi payed attention to this. Of course, his purposed destiny was to be Shaman, he was brought into Healer as a test. Staying in that rank, Obi maintained his status, and earned his rank 'Shaman' after the Fae who possessed that rank passed away.
Personality:
Obi is like a vast land of pointed mountains. He can be a beauty, but hard to climb. If you don't understand, its more rather that he is a Stubborn brute, but he still can be sweet if you take your time. He can be slow to understand, but if he get liking to you he can be quite the book. Naturally, Obi loves to compete. In hunting trails, betting, or just plain guessing, he can be a genius. Truthfully, Obi learns half the stuff he has made a mistaken in. As he said, you cant be old and wise without being young and crazy.
Other:
Obi can do awkward things. He can predict something, and be right about it somehow. Now this isnt always correct, rather he makes a stupid guess of someone, and it can be quite wrong. But he is very observant when he is alone, and his eyes are always glued to the outside of his den. Being observant for Obi is a great thing. He looks for that in pups, to see if he'll be able to find his future replacement after he retires by eight years.
Original:
Yes, although his mother became an Outcast for a severe punishment. So his adoptive mother was an old Provider who died by the time he became two years. He was always alone when he was young, or off doing something he probably wasn't supposed to do.

Name:
Sterling
Gender:
Male
Age:
four (4) years
Rank:
Beta
Mate:
TBA
Pups:
None ATM
History:
Sterling was brought into the world on a chilly spring morning; the first of his siblings to arrive. He was blind, as blind as you would be with your eyes shut; for this was the very case, and would be for the next few weeks. He spent his days nestled close to his mother, and tightly packed between his brothers and sisters; warmth and their scent radiating off of each one like they were their own individual, personalized heater. This sense of security, of safety, would soon be corrupted though; as it almost always is for the children of a lone wolf.
Life was a struggle for Sterling and his siblings; or at least what was left of them. They were slowly wasting away. Sterling’s mother wasn't able to provide by her lone and helpless self for her 6 pups; and the effects of their desperation were showing, Sterling a prime example. Their ribs and hips had begun to become visible despite their fluffy fur that would normally hide any hint of a thin stature. The growing bodies of Sterling and his siblings were not getting enough of the nutrients they needed, and slowly many of them were unable to even stand; due to the lack of calcium in their system to build up their bone density to support their weight. Sterling was a fighter though; he kept himself standing and walking no matter the condition. Eventually death had taken three of his siblings and Sterling's mother was desperate. The location of her mate was unknown, and so instead she saught out the help of a nearby pack of wolves. His mother came across the Beta, Titan, and he agreed to see the pups and decide wether anything could be salvaged of the pups. Titan visited when Sterling was on the verge of being immobile like his siblings. The beta came only find no interest in any of them. He had decided they were too weak, and were doomed beyond his repair; of course he said this with sorrow though, he did love his children. On his way back to his pack, Sterling had (with a great struggle) stood to his paws and yelped, "wait! You have to help us!" Titan had reluctantly turned his head, expecting to find one of these pups wailing on the ground; but instead he found himself looking into the eyes of Sterling, Standing barely, but standing. Titan had immediately decided to take Sterling with him, seeing there might be something he could do for him. Sterling was nursed back to health on a large daily diet, and soon was back to health. Titan trained Sterling to one day take his place, since Titan had no mate and thought of Sterling much like his son.
One sad afternoon, Titan disappeared. He left a trace of blood that faded a few feet from the large circle in the center of his favorite meadow. The meadow was surrounded by the smell of Titan, but also the dreaded smell of human was drenched all around the snow, stronger in their tracks than away. Sterling was then declared Beta, and has led his pack for a full year since then.
Personality:
Sterling is your everyday hot-headed male, but there's a serious side to him likewise. Those who just see Sterling as Beta know he is strong and confidant in his decisions, and stands by what he thinks is best and/or right. While being under the ranking of his Alpha, the male still expects respect, but also understands that everyone can also be friends while respecting one another. Ster is strict and expects what he asked for to be completed without question. He may seem rather tough and expectant, but really Sterling is understanding and fairly lenient. He's easy to trust and will have your back no matter what, so long as you don't give him reasons to agree otherwise. Those who know Sterling a scrap closer know he loves a good laugh, and is just as content relaxing and doing nothing as giving out orders and making sure everything is in place. They know Ster would easily consider himself sly, even though it can be a bit obvious what he is up to at times. If given the chance Sterling can be outgoing and fun; even reckless if something too large isn't at stake. He is by no doubt a trouble maker by nature; but knows when to behave as he is expected to, like the alpha he is. He's a bit hot headed as mentioned before, but better described as confidant and show-off-y. He's very charming, always knowing the right things to say and easy to be around; someone that anyone can feel comfortable talking about almost anything around. When Sterling shows his flirtatious side, you sure as heck know it. He'll go out of his way to impress, and even drop subtle taunts and always have that bright and shining smile flashing across his lips. Sterling is very protective and intimidating if he wants to be; not afraid to man up and fight if the time comes, although just like the next guy in line would rather solve things peacefully.
Strengths-

Determined
Patient
Open Minded
Protective
Charming
Strong
Skilled
Intelligent
Observant
Funny

Weaknesses-

Likes-
Thunder storms, hunting (even though he's awful at it), running, eating, food, pups, laughing, friends, family, spring, winter, fall, clouds, the sky, sleep, walks, late night walks, soft beds, exploring, learning, playing, talking, forests, grass, breezy wind, and etc.
Dislikes-
Death, summer, heat, arguing, being questioned, illness, criticism, open areas, losing, strong wind, bushes, thorns, pain (but he can deal with it), and etc.
Fears-
Death, rejection, illness, falling, failing, fire, people, guns, and etc.
Other:
Here's just a little of his appearance...
COLOR: Sterling has the appearance of the large, powerful Alpha he is. His fur is that of none other than a Grey Wolf, but his fur patterns are darker and more prominent compared to others. The black that lines areas of his fur are much darker and visible than usual, but it gives him more of a dominant appearance than spiteful or unruly; which numerous darker colored wolves happen to have the appearance of at first glance. The brute's face is rather common for a grey wolf, around the top half grey fur speckled with hints of a golden brown; and the bottom starting at the sides of his muzzle and cheeks working its way down to his chest and belly, a creamy, almost off-white shade. From the inside corner of his eyes, Sterling has this dark outline that follows the line of his eyes, projecting out the outside corner and stretching over to the corner of his cheek. This outline separates his grey-black-golden brown tainted fur, also serving as a highlight to his deep, dark hazelnut glittery orbs. This black outline is also found scattered along his fur in diverse areas; one of them being his ears. Along the rim and outside of the alphas ears, there is a black outline, thicker and slightly darker than the one from his eyes, but yet having the same effect. The outline gives his ears a fluffy, almost cloudy appearance due to the darker shading along the outside, and then the soft light inside; that with the outline looks twice as fluffy and soft. Continuing to the top of Sterling’s head, you find that the colors darken to more of a black and grey mixture of tiny blemishes. The fur lightens down his neck with the gain of the golden brown hue to Sterling’s fur, but then again darkens down his back into purely grey and black strands; mixed with the white fur that halfway down his frame slowly surrenders to the creamy color of his belly and sides. The dark black highlights found on Sterling’s ears and eyes additionally appear along the edge of his shoulder blades; again on his hind legs and tail tip. To refresh the information about the rest of Sterling’s colors, the remainder down his back and to his tail is a dark black and grey mixture of flecks; slowly battling against the creamy white fur that eventually dominates half way up his frame.
STATURE: Sterling is not necessarily an immense male, but he's surely not small either. The alpha is slightly taller than average, standing at 35 inches tall, 7 feet long, and 130lbs; slightly larger than the average 26-32 inches long, 5-6.5 feet long, and 125lb. male. Sterling’s paws however, are a different story. Those extensive feet of his are nearly a half of size larger than the average wolf, rather enormous compared to many others. The alphas shoulders are fairly wide, packing on a decent amount of muscle. Due to his constant running around and training while he was not alpha, Sterling's muscle is well trimmed and packed away; so looks are not all that they seem in Sterling’s case. Other than the above, not much more is special about Sterling’s appearance, only that his tail is possibly a tad shorter than average, and certainly fluffier.
Original:
Not origionally from this pack ;; origionally a loner as a pup

To Sessko:
Is it alright if Ster is Beta? I know you mentioned Beta is mostly born in the pack, but I really liked his history. |3 I understand if not, I can fix everything I suppose. |3 Jus' lemme' know!

((Sorry, i'm really being a bum here... I don't have much time though, so I hope you're alright with my laziness. D| Promise I'll RP better! |3))

Age:

Rank:
Scout
Mate:

Pups:
None//OPEN
History:
Schatten was born into the pack on a warm spring morning, only Schatten surviving due to her brothers misfortune of being born with a disease that had irregularily curved his spine. Her brother had only lived for a few days, and then passed away after refusal to eat or really do much of anything. Schatten isn't bothered by her brother's death though, she never really got o know him or anything. Schat had been infamous for sneaking out of camp and exploring, unknowingly putting herself into grave danger. The worst that ever happened to the fea was running into an odd creature that she now would identify as a squirrel. The fluffy tailed creature had bit her nose, and so Schat had run for the hills and back into her mothers paws. When of the age to be put into a rank, Schatten was assigned Scout due to her knowledge of the pack lands, and her crafty, sneaky nature.
Personality:
I'm being super lazy, so I'm just writing words. I'll edit later, if that's alright... D| Crafty, sneaky, manipulative, curious, adventurous, confidant, skeptical, witty, almost fearless, straightforward, immature, understanding, protective, laid back in most situations, bubbly, flirty, sensible, observant, careful/cautious, affectionate, daring, tricky, cunning, and etc...
Other:

Username: (Your username..) Jenna =3
Name: (Your character's name) Amoux
Gender: (Female or Male) Male
Age: (In years or simply pup) 4 years old.
Rank: (Warrior, Yearling etc etc) Warrior
Mate: (If any, and who plays them if so) No mate.
Pups: (If any, and who plays them if so) No pups.
History: (A bit about your characters past) Amoux was just a little pup when he was abandoned by his parents, sister, and brothers. He was known as the "useless" one in the family. He was alone, cold, and angry at his family for leaving him in the middle of winter. So, he set out on a quest to find his parents and destroy them for leaving him. After a few months or so, he gave up and just went another path.He found a clan and then joined it. (Hopefully that's enough history..)
Personality: (Whats your character like?) Aggressive, supportive, likes hunting, and can sometimes be nice. But mostly he's angry. So don't mess with him unless you want a serious scar to remember. (Enough, hopefully?)
Other: (Anything else you want people to know about your character) He doesn't like bragheads and mean wolfs. So, be careful around him if your going to brag or whatever to make him angry...
Original: (Whether you were a wolf from this pack or if you joined.) Joined.

( Hopefully i'll be accepted. This is my first time roleplaying on this site, so if i mess up, please contact me and tell me what i did wrong and i'll fix it. ;) )
Thank you!
