Foxpaw grinned at Nightpelt as best she could with the mouse in her mouth. "Thanks!" She mewed, padding back over to walk a short ways behind him.

Nightpelt walked deeper scenting a rabbit and went into a hunters crouch. He stoked it and once he was close enough where he can see it. He pounced crushing it's spine with his weight then biting it's neck snapping it. He picked it up and looked back at Foxpaw.

Brokenstar got out of from behind the Lava springs falling water "time to take out all the apprentices!" she yowled almost falling into lava springs. she swam our her pelt now soaking wet and hot. "all apprentices report near the lava springs to wait for their warriors" she meowed "all warriors need to wake up and mentor the apprentices! all apprentices HAVE to train"

Willowshade calmly walked out her den "come on echopaw, we must go and train" she meowed making echopaw follow her.

Featherclaw woke up instantly "i will see you later my sweet" he licked hawkfang padding away to the lava springs standing still "we will do this every morning!" brokenstar yelped

Foxpaw woke up hearing Brokenstar calling all of the apprentices. She bounded up out of her best to follow the group of other apprentices and warriors walking towards the hot springs, glancing around for her mentor. She was excited about the prospect of training every morning, and she quickened her pace, fully awake.

Purring, Hawkfang nuzzled Featherclaw with her muzzle. She was going to stand guard at camp today. Cinderfur and Leafshine were finished sitting vigil as warriors, and they went into the den to sleep. They had stayed up all night.
Marshpaw bounced up to Dustfoot, who treated the apprentice like he didn't exist. Marshpaw just shrugged and kept running, catching up to Brokenstar.
"What are we doing today?" the eager apprentice inquired. He grinned at Foxpaw who was following the group. "Do you think we'll be warriors soon?"

Foxpaw looked over at Marshpaw. "I'm nine moons old now, I bet I definitely will soon! And if you keep at the rate you're going, so will you!" Foxpaw answered happily, looking forward at the rest of the group and still keeping an eye out for Nightpelt. Her tail waved behind her, and her fur rippled in the wind, sending a chill down her spine.

Medowsky stretched out her legs and yawned. The sun shone on her long calico pelt. She watched as cats talked and exited and entered the clan camp. Her stomach growled. She walked over to the fresh kill pile only to find a small vole. She shrugged and quickly eat the mouse. After she disposed of the excess vole, she went to gaze at the energetic apprentices.

"now!" brokenstar yowled "let's go to koi lake! mentors will freely mentor but they have mentor buddies. they change every time" brokenstar contunied "now chose your mentor buddies. 2 warriors, 2 apprentices" she added "hawkfang, and oneear will stay and gaurd the kits and camp." she concluded jumping into the lava springs

Meadowsky quickly sprinted toward brokenstar before she could head off. "Greetings brokenstar, sorry to stop you, but would it be acceptable for myself to follow along?" She said blowing some of the hair from her eyes, " I'd say I have nothing better to do except to to sit in the long grass."

Foxpaw listened to Brokenstar, then turned back to Marshpaw. "Hey, if our mentors allow it, do you want to be training buddies for today?" She would love it if he said yes. Since Leafshine had recently become a warrior, Marshpaw was one of the only other apprentices she knew that well.
