Zevi is constantly on the go. It seems as if he never has a moment to rest; when he finally finds an afternoon uncluttered with official meetings or council lectures there is always something else he must attend to, something unlisted on his schedule. He's practically always yawning, smothering it in the crook of his arm, behind a hand, behind a flash of a smile. He's developing lines around his eyes young because he is so stressed and bears the weight of an entire country on his shoulders, but he would have it no other way. Zevi feels obligated to make certain that Rossore stays put together because he was the one the last king decided to trust the most; if he fails now, he'll be letting his friend down, and Zevi simply does not let his friends down. Despite the ceaseless stress the job brings Zevi does enjoy some aspects of being king, including the fact that he can directly influence the politics of his country, and uses his opinion to better the climate.

He's learned quickly which thoughts to keep to himself and how to read a room and which council member he should approach with a radical idea if he doesn't want to get shot down. Since inheriting the crown he's gotten far better at reading people, at judging their true nature. He is very philosophical and believes that everybody has innate goodness in them, no matter what they've chosen to do with their lives. For this reason alone he is friends with both Beauregard and Jonquil, despite what they choose to do for careers. He thinks that neither are as bad as they could be, and for that he finds goodness in them. He's a sort of eternal optimist although he would never consider himself one; it's a subtle character trait, something that strengthens him in times of chaos and violence and bides him to keep his chin up. Even if he's not conscious of it, Zevi is always dreaming of greener grass being just around the corner.
