so I've decided to keep the other two from this batch, and I'll (hesitantly) be putting this lovely kit up for adoption ;u; I love them, but I can't replicate gradient designs with overlaying markings for my life oops--

so this will be a prompted impress-me with a few limitations. the prompt is: "Describe a typical Halloween with them and their family." and because this includes their family, you must also give me their relationships with their family members! <3

you must answer the prompt in 800 words or less, but you must have a minimum of 250 words. you may have up to three extras. no more.
art, as an extra, has no limit. whether you have one piece or fifteen, it all counts as just one extra. though don't go too crazy, alright?
If you enter and you make art, no matter what the scenario, ALL ART MUST GO TO THE WINNER. no exceptions. I HATE seeing people keep art of a character that isn't theirs. you have no use for it if you don't win, so why not just give it to the new owner???
prettying up is allowed, but keep in mind that I will not give bonus points for it.

so here are the family members and their brief personality snippets to get y'all started <3

Dylan (Father) - A feminine flirt who may or may not be a raging psychopath. He's the overprotective papa who believes his children can do no wrong whatsoever, and for this reason, is banned from all PTA meetings. At home, he's the one who's most likely to spoil his children rotten. He does like embarrassing everyone, though, so he also might be the dad who kisses his kids on the forehead in front of their friends.

Simon (Father) - Simon is the reasonable, logical dad who always wears a confident smirk on his face. He's a bit of a prankster, but he knows when he's pushing it. He's the sort of dad who encourages his kids to defend themselves (unlike Dylan, who just wants to shield his babies from the world).

Reginald (top / twin brother) - Reginald, or Reggie, as he prefers to be called, is the quieter of the two brothers. He takes after Simon in the sense that he is very practical, but aside from that, he isn't like his parents at all. He's booksmart and prefers reading over adventuring any day, and is a bit of a coward. Enzo's always teasing him.

Enzo (bottom / twin brother) - The mischievous twin who seems to have inherited his fathers' worst personality traits. He's got a short temper, is a trouble-maker, and loves pulling pranks on his dads - which usually lands him in the time-out corner. He picks on Reggie because he's too quiet, but when push comes to shove, he's always there for his brother.

end date is tba, but it will be sometime around Halloween, I'm almost certain.

brief personality;
Madison is a very complicated person with many sides to her, she manipulates others to get what she wants like it's completely normal, but she is too a very unsecure young girl that often doesn't know how to react to things. She may at first glance seam cold and very snobbish, but hidden inside is a girl with a big heart that just loves to spend time with her friends and family, even if the way she does it can look very mean. She can go from the most confident person in the world to extremely insecure in the blink of an eye, it's imposbile to know when it will happen. She can at occasion get kind of cationic and almost zombie-like, she don't doesn't talk and doesn't really think, but she gets very physical when it happens and seeks contact, which too is the best way to get it to disappear, just being close so she knows she's not alone.

relationship w/family;

Dylan, or Papa:
Madison have her Papa wrapped around her little finger, she's his innocent little baby girl who wouldn't hurt a fly, or at least in his eyes... 
She often manipulates him into giving her things and letting her get away with things without punishment, or making him believe her brother Enzo did something when it was actually she who did it. 
But she does love him, he is after all her Papa and she would do anything to make him happy, or well, nearly anything, anything that didn't involve actually being nice to Enzo... 
But she can be truthful with him, like when she is feeling down and need a shoulder to cry on, when she's blaming herself for something or just needs some to watch her favorite sad movies with her, it's always her Papa she goes to. Because he never says anything when that happens, he just let's her cry and always makes her a nice cup of tea to melt the sorrows away. 

Simon, or Dad:
She loves her dad, but tend to keep a bit of a distance between them, since she isn't really sure what he thinks about her relationship to her Papa and if he thinks she is doing something bad. But he is the one she goes to when she are having problem with school and friends and don't know how to fix it, since he always have a logical answer any question she could have. 

Enzo, or pumpkin bro:
Madison and Enzo doesn't really have the best of relationships, since she often tricks her Papa into giving him the blame for something she have done or actually setting him up to get him punished or to get something herself. But they do sometimes have fun and play together, even if they are mostly prank wars and who can play the best pranks without being punished or found out. But she tends to stay away when Enzo have friends at home, at least putting the line at doing anything like it in the presence of non-family.


Reggie, or purple bro/wing bro:
Madison doesn't really have any opinion on Reggie, nor do they have that close of an relationship. Mostly do to their different personalities and interests, they just don't have anything in common other the fact that they are siblings. But they do sometimes but heads, like when Maddie goes just a bit to far with her manipulation of Dylan or she does something that puts Enzo in trouble for something really he didn't do.

"Papa, Papa, PAPA!" Madison screamed, her puppy eyes in full swing, tears in the corner of her eyes. She whimpers sadly and turns to stare at her Papa when he skids into her bedroom like he was on fire with panic in his eyes. 
"Maddie, Madison honey, what's going on, are you hurt???" her Papa is at her side where she is before her mirror before she can even blink and she sniffles. 
"E-E-Enzo destroyed m-ma costume," she bust into tears and threw herself at her Papa, burrowed her face in her Papa's chest wich was vibrating with a low growl. 
"Let me see baby girl and I will go this, okay? You will get half of the candy Enzo gets, will that be okay Maddie honey?" she snuffles closer and nods slightly, mumbling a low okay. 
"There, there honey, it will be fine, I will help you fix your custume and then we will go and and get some candy, does that sound good?" she noded again backin away from her Papa, and as such showin the big tear in her batman dress. 
"Oh Maddie, I will get the sewing kit and then I will fix it for you okay?" she nodded again and looked after her Papa when they disappeared out her door, tiptoeing up to it to make sure the other was gone. When she was sure he had gotten to the stairs she smirked and whopped, pupping her fist on the hair. She laughed and  threw herself on her bed, still smirking. 
"Ahhh the wonders, it works every time, and now I get half of dear Enzo's candy, oh I love ma life," she sighed happily. 

"Dad, have yo seen ma mask?" Madison shouted, gaming over the railing to the stairs. Her Papa had fixed her dress, so now she haut had to find her mask and she would be done, if she could remember where she put it that is. If Enzo hadn't stolen it, that is, which wasn't to be ruled out now that she had tricked Papa into giving her part of his candy, but ehh, it was worth it. 
"No Madison, I haven't seen it, why don't you ask your father or one of your brothers? Maybe they have seen it, and could you please hurry up, if we don't go soon all the cant will be gone by the time we gets there," her dad shouted back to her, and she nodded to herself, Enzo had more than likely taken it. 
"Okay," she said, turning around to see if Reggie had seen it, because no way was she asking the pumpkin when he was more then likely the one that hide the mask. 

"Hey, wing bro, yo seen ma batman mask? I think the Pumpkin took it, and I need it, like right now," she stuck her head into her brother's room, head tilted to the side, waiting to see if her brother knew anything. 
"I think I saw it in the laundry bin, the one in the big bathroom," Reggie didn't even look up from the book he was reading as he answered her. She shrugged to herself, all to used to it. 
"Yeah, okay, and yo should probably find a place to stop, we a probably going in like, five minutes or something," she stepped back out of his room and closed the door. Then she turned toward the bathroom, and more then likely, her mask. 

Mask in place, dress fixed and more candy then she would ever be able to eat, she walked along the street with the rest of the family, her Papa and Dad right behind her, Reggie to her left and Enzo, who was giving her the stink eye, to her right. Well, a typically Halloween, simply put, and really she wouldn't have it any other way.

“Hey Lina! Yo an Robber still wana come an play at mine after school?” Madison smiled at her friend as she sat down with her lunch at the table the other was sitting at.
“Should we really invite him?” Carolina pouted and picked at her food.
“Duhh, of course, we said we was gona watch lots a movies, and we can’t do it without him, an me and Robber’s gona play tricks on Enzo,” Maddie smiled and took a bit of her food, shrugging at the look other other gave her at it.
“What? It food, why yo don’t eat?” she tilted her head to the side, taking another bite.
“It looks like someone have already eaten it and didn’t like it,” the other girl wrinkled her nose in disgust and pushed her own plate away from her.
“So? It taste okay,” Madison said, confused. She took another bite and looked from her plate to her friend and back again. Carolina took another look at her plate before turning away with her paw to her mouth.
“Hey Lina? Yo look a bit green, yo okay?” she said with a frown, concerned. The other shock her head and jumped up and stumbled away from the table. Madison blinked and put her fork down, even more confused now.
“I'll just, I’ll see you later, yeah?” Carolina hastily grabbed her bag and rushed out of the canteen. Madison stared after her friend in confusion before shrugging and continuing to eat her food. She would ask about it later, now she just needed to eat up so she didn’t get late to her next period.


Madison stood outside the school and looked around to see if either of the siblings had gotten out from their classes yet. Sadly no such luck, so she just decided to wait for them by the parking lot instead. She hummed to herself as she walked, looking around her at the other simas walking to and from it, most of them where her own age, the older ones lessons probably hadn't ended yet. Madison pushed her bag up over her shoulder as it was sliding down, studying a pair of older girl that stood by a silver car, giggling. She tilted her head to the side, what were they laughing about?
"Hey Maddie!" Her head swirled towards the call, smiling when she saw the happily waving Carolina and the silent Graverobber coming towards her.
"Hey, yo ready for all the 'mazing movies we a going to watch," she said, smiling broadly at her friends.
"Of course, as long as I get to choose at least one of them, since I will have to deal with the trick war you two no doubt are going to have with Enzo," Carolina huffed and wrinkled her nose. Madison giggled and exchanged a look with Robber, nodding at the shrug she got back, yeah, they could at least give her that.
All three of them swirled around when a car honked just some meters from them. A smile grew on Madison's face as she saw her Dad behind the wheel, waving cheerfully at him.
"Come on," she called to her friends as she run towards the car, the others soon following her. She skided to a halt at the passenger side of the car, looking at her friends for permission before she jumped in. This was going be so much fun, she could just tell!
