"People.." I whisper, spotting Callum Buckly I hiss softly. Racking my brain for memories, I found none, "We've been brainwashed..." I let out a little loudly.

Umm probably googling what the flap of skin between thumb and forefinger is—I've forgotten what it's called XD

"How long we will be in this thing?" Spencer asked again.
"About fifteen hours or so. Calm down, Spence, we aren't gonna crash." Toby said, like he was scolding a small child. Spencer huffed and reached across Toby to the pull the window blind down.
"Why don't you watch a movie? I'm sure they have something you like." Toby suggested. Another huff. "Fine then, Spence, but I'm gonna sleep."

Mack desperately wanted some quiet. The last time she'd been on a plane was when she came home from Afghanistan, without her best friend Riley. She didn't enjoy flying, nor did she enjoy listening to some kid rattle on about the history of Egypt.
"And Egyptian women had equal rights. They could-" He was interrupted by Mack.
"Look kid, I really don't care. I'm sorry, but I have no interest in history."
"I'm not a kid, I'm twenty two. And my name's Desmond. Not kid." He didn't seem offended by the rest of the statement. "And you're Miss Williams?" He asked, after reading the name on her dog tags.
Mack lifted her hand to touch the cold metal. "No. Mackenzie."
Desmond seemed to - thankfully - understand without explanation. "I'm sorry." The words sounded almost mechanical from him, like he'd long forgotten the emotion that went with them.
"It's fine." Now her words were sounding mechanical too.

They were saved from any more awkward conversation by turbulence.

Toby had just began to doze off when Spencer woke him up.
"Toby make it stop!" The Irish boy was frantically whispering to him. Toby sighed and sat up.
"It'll be fine, Spence. Look, you can ask one of the flight attendants." Toby suggested.

The woman that Spencer asked didn't even look like a flight attendant; she was wearing an orange floral tank top, Star Spangled Banner boxer shorts, and sandals. The only thing that identified her as a flight attendant was written across her forehead in marker. It said "My name is FLIGHT ATTENDANT."
Spencer asked her, "Are we gonna crash?" She looked at her nonexistent watch.
"Not yet."

"Right- Lyca, don't speak your own mind here, you never know." Ben quickly responded. I nod, Adjusting my red bow in my hair.
"I see your all confused." a voice rang out across the room, it was a boy I reconised, yet couldn't put my finger on it. Opening my mouth to say something, Ben gave me a look and I clampted my mouth closed.
"For war reasons, this is your new home." And he walked away.
"What?" Ben said, I knew for a minute the boy was working with Callum.

"Think fast." He said. I kicked him hard in the shin.
"I demand a explnation!" I yell, wacking his stomach. I've lost it.
"Lyca!" Ben said, "Come on, you can beat him up later, we're getting rooms!"

euhm, well, I know I've searched a bit on Staphylococcal Infections.
Poor Avery.
I also looked up how long it took for bruises to form and how long it took for them to go away.
Poor Avery.
I also looked up where in your torso you could be shot without dying.
Poor Avery.

I also looked up when the next Central American Lunar Eclipse will be be after August 2017 (April 2024, btw)
And how big a spaceship would have to be and how fast it would have to be pivoting in order to generate false gravity.
Though I guess that last one didn't work out *shrug*

I followed Ben through the endless corridors until we came to our room. Its was dull, grey and white with a bunk bed.
"Great." I say, glancing at him. Then he felt in his pocket.
