This is the most saturated Common Starling I've ever seen, wow
I see them quite frequently outside and they're usually more like, dirty black/brown with white spots. Like this.
Maybe that chick got in juuust the right lighting conditions :D

I thought the bird designs were based off of swallows at first, but now the idea of starlings seems more fitting! I like the burgundy color best so far.

Look at the last outcome's tails, the beginning of little gold markings ;3 I'm hoping at least. But there is some gold there! Haha

Well, they do have less spotting during breeding season and as with most starlings, their feathers are super iridescent, but this chick is so violently blue that I would never have guessed it might be a common starling, haha.
The leg and beak colours match, though, so it's definitely a possibility^^ I'm just super surprised bc I'd never have connected such a vibrant chick with the comparatively dull birds I'm used to seeing.

Yeah the common starlings here are all dark blue brats. Starlings are the brattiest birds haha

Those bird pictures! Oh wow, gorgeous!

I got four of the last outcome and only one each of the other two. I'm kind of hoping this new one is a split. I got three cocoons with one pillar left, so I hope there is only one outcome left of the bwolves.
Please do NOT send trades for my event tokens. I rarely trade tokens before I get all of the event items/pets that I want. When my tokens are for trade, I will put that in my trade posts on the trade threads. Thank you.

European starlings I'm familiar with. They're pretty birds and the murmurations they fly in are mesmerizing, but oh my god they are horrible. Their calls are irritating and they are awful pests that absolutely drain our bird feeders, and they also bully other birds and are a menace to crops. European starlings also happen to be an invasive species here in North America because some nutcase in the 1890s had the brilliant idea to try to introduce to America every species of bird mentioned by Shakespeare. So thanks a lot, Eugene Schieffelin, for unleashing a plague unto our doorsteps. At least the other birds you tried to introduce didn't fare as well.
