[Any time! And your wolf is accepted, I've added her to the front page as a novice, if she really hasn't found her ranking/job in the pack yet.]
"Great!" Maggot was bouncing up and down on his paws. He giggled as Runt nipped his ear, and he tried to butt her shoulder with his muzzle, but he tripped and fell onto his belly. Grinning, he rolled over onto his back and exposed his light colored belly, then rolled back over and got to his paws. "Come on!"
He ran back to Aera. "We're ready to go! Where should we train? I don't really get out much..."
Phoenix grinned as his Alpha smiled. He loved seeing others smile, especially after what happened to their pack. Phoenix remembered his dad Luno, who had the same power as him... well, he used to.
"You're right," he said, trotting after her. He wasn't as athletic as she was, so he was panting a little. "My father had the same power, remember? So did Felon. They both lost theirs, so I've got to be extra careful with mine, you're right."
"Good eye," Solara rumbled. She nuzzled her son's ears with her broad snout. "Your third eye, I mean."
She stretched, and a stray spark shot off her pelt. It landed on the ground and fizzled out, but Solara stomped on the area, just in case. She almost burned down camp when she was a teenager, first finding her power. Fortunately a wolf had water manipulation powers and put out the fire.
Felon was nearby, still training with her claws against the bark. "If only we could find a way across the river."
"No more killing my son," Solara told her. "There must be a better way."
"We tried everything."
Solara cleared her throat. "When the patrol comes back, I will call a pack meeting. We need to find a safe way across, without repeatedly killing Phoenix."
