Redfeather looked at Nightgaze and smiled sleepily. "Can you lay with me?" She laid in her nest after Nightgaze set her down. Her heart didn't want her to leave just yet.

"L -lay with you?" Her ears and nose blazed again, her eyes looking at the she-cat

Redfeather nodded and looked her in the eyes. "Yeah, unless you don't want to."

"I- i mean, of course I will, love" She said, padding over to the she-cat, laying beside her, feeling the familiar warmth of Redfeather's.

"You should probably go and check on Oaktail, Moonblossom. Me and your mother will be in my den"

Redfeather nuzzled and smiled, "thank you love." She closed her eyes and yawned sleepily.

"yes father!" she meowed getting up to check on oaktail "how you doin oaktaiL?"

"You should probably get some rest before we head out..." She whispered, pressing her nose to Redfeather's forehead.

Mousestar smiled at Ashrunner, leaping down to his den.

Oaktail nodded and looked at Moonblossom. "I'm feeling a little sick, and a little pain."

Redfeather nodded and shifted a little closer to Nightgaze and drifted to sleep.

Ashrunner cast a glance as her daughter leapt off, then pounced down as well.

He laid on his bed, his paws beneath him. He watched the entrance for signs of his mate.

Nightgaze fell asleep soon.
