Mousestar's tail guided his daughter to the space between him and Ashrunner.

Redfeather breathed in Nightgaze's scent then pulled back feeling slightly embarresed. "I'm sorry Nightgaze," her heart pounding and glanced at her paws speaking in a soft tone. She knew she loved the shecat but didn't know if she liked her back.

Moonpaw looked at her father, "will mother go back to being medicine cat after her kits?" moonpaw asked, she wanted to work wit her mother again lying down closing her eyes

Tears sparkling in her deep eyes, Ashrunner licked Moonpaw's cheek. "Do you promise to uphold the Medicine Cat Code, to put your Clan first and protect them against disease?"

"I do" moonpaw meowed looking at her mother blindly

"I name you Moonblossom." She meowed, her voice cracking. "Im so proud of you."

Moonblossom looked at her mother. she never heard those words come out of her mouth " will you come back? will i work alone?" She mewed worry clouding her blind glaze

"I. . ." She gulped. "I don't know yet."

"I'm so proud of you.." Mousestar mewed with Ashrunner. Tears formed in his eyes, his little kit was almost all grown up, and already got her medicine cat name.

Moorpaw jumped up from her paws. "Moonblossom! Moonblossom!"

Cranebranch rolled his eyes and continued in Moorpaw's chant. "Moonblossom! Moonblossom!"

Nightgaze's ears blazed. "I -its fine" She wished that the she-cat didn't pull away, but at least she could still feel the warmth of her pelt. "Moonblossom! Moonblossom!" She joined with her brother and the small, fluffy apprentice in the chant.
