Mousestar let out the breath he was holding. "She will still keep her name, Ashrunner, but Moonpaw will be taking over as medicine cat"

Moorpaw blinked. "No!" Her voice was the first to speak

Cranebranch's face dropped. "Who will take over?"

Nightgaze's tail draped over Redfeather's shoulder, feeling her warmth. Her eyes looked to Ashrunner as she spoke. "Was this your punishment?" She asked, her tone more hostile than she ment.

She flinched, then snarled. "I had no punishment!"

Redfeather looked a little startled then looked at Ashrunner. "But Moonpaw hasn't finished her training and who will teach Ashrunner fighting moves." She knew medicine cats learned a little but not all fighting moves.

Stormtail looked at Reedheart. "I don't think anyone knows." He whispered. also, he was a bit frightened. He had never seen ashrunner act like this..

"I could!" Softleaf spoke up. She knew redfeather wasn't talking to her but she could teach ashrunner some fighting moves.

Reedheart shuffled his paws, he knew he had skill with medicine, but he didn't want to give up not being able to have a mate, so he kept quiet and slightly started to back away, to the exit of the camp, to head to the river.

Stormtail looked away from the two cats on the high rock and looked beside him. Reedheart was gone. He was just at the exit.. "reedheart! Where are you going?" He whispered, going after him.

Reedheart continued to pad away, out of camp and to the river, he ignored Stormtail's question and kept the thought of having an apprentice run the medicine den running through his head, and a serious of dilemmas that could occur, not to be rude to the apprentice, but they were still in training, and has a lot to learn still.
