my mom approved of my tattoo design (which i'm hopefully getting next year, provided how my financial situation is - where I live, I'm still a minor, so I can only get a tattoo that can be covered and with parental permission) which involves some lyrics from Taxi Cab (an old favorite song of mine i recently re-discovered) and the goopy stuff from the cover of self titled! I'm getting "don't be afraid", with the last letter fading into the goop. needless to say, it's gonna look pretty sick!

ahhh thats gonna be so cool, omg. i cried when i got mine, maybe a little from pain - but mostly from emotion. when/if anyone gets a band tattoo, id suggest something that means a lot to you.

speaking of tattoos, i only have one. which took me at least a half a year to convince me mum? its very small tho. and i mean really small.

its on my side ( and i totally do not recommend this as your first tattoo spot, bcos it hurts bad ) and it just says "peace wøn, fear løst". i'll probably add more to it when i'm older but for now its perfect

@mikohshiba - that sounds gorgeous! i'm getting mine on my left wrist, on the inside part - it'll hurt but i just know it'll be worth it! i hope one day i can show the boys once i get it ahh

quiz taken!
i selected vessel, i think partly because it was one of their first albums i listened to all the way through,
and a lot of the lyrics really resonate with me (though the same is true for just about all of their songs, if i'm being honest).
i really like the sound of it too, and how it seems to cover every mood. it has a lot of themes in it that seem similar to what i have struggled with (be it anxiety or loneliness or wanting to distancing yourself from people or whatever), and it was very helpful to have these songs to accompany me in working through these things. and also truce is one of my all time favorite tøp songs, and has been there to keep me going a few times. my second choice probably would have been self titled, because when i first listened to it a lot of what tyler was saying seemed to make sense with the particular struggles i was having at the time, and helped me to work through them.
