[fatal trouble]

"FOX!" Mousestar yowled again.

Oaktail jumped off the fox and started to feel a little dizzy. "I think I should be fine." He watched the fox flee away from them and away from camp. He looked at the large spot on his shoulder that was missing fur. He also noticed some other spots that had scratches and little tufts of fur missing from the fight. The stinging pain and the heat from the wounds filled the adrenaline from the fight. "I should get the medicine cat. Thanks Reedheart," he looked at the other tom and nodded. "We should make sure Tinyfeather sends out patrols to make sure the foxes won't come back and to be careful."

" Good idea, although, I personally haven't met any other clanmates but: You, Mousestar and Ashrunner, so you should inform her, or even Mousestar." He nodded and went back to look at his spots,"Let's get you to camp quickly, and tell Mousestar it's over." He tensed up and started to push Oaktail along.

Mousestar looked out at the deserted camp. "Ashrunner? Tinyfeather?"

Cranebranch looked back at his leader. "Tinyfeather, hold your patrols, Mousestar is back"

Oaktail limped and sighed, "I hope everything is fine in camp." He looked at Reedheart and nodded, "You should meet others in the clan. I could show you some in the clan." He offered as he leaned on Reedheart a little trying to ignore the pain.

" Thanks" he smiled and saw Oaktail lean on him slightly and stoped for a second and got underneath Oaktail, to carry him on his back," You'll just flop on the ground anyway." He slightly purred and continued onto the camp to see Mousestar and Cranebranch.

Oaktail didn't fight and watched as they entered camp. His muscles were stiff and sore, he hissed in pain and then sighed. He looked at Mousestar and Cranebranch.

"Everyone seems to be gone..." Mousestar said, helping Oaktail off of Reedheart's back, setting him on a soft moss bedding.

"Tinyfeather sent them out on patrol, Moonpaw is gathering herbs with Redfeather, and Ashrunner is in her den I think..."

Oaktail winced and closed his eyes trying to ease the pain. Once he was set in the moss bed he relaxed a bit but his shoulder still hurt. He wanted to sit up and clean it but he was to tired.

Reedheart looked as Oaktail was carried off his back," Wait! He needs treating! Carry him to the medicine den, otherwise those wounds will become infected, if not already." He called to Mousestar and ran over to them looking at Oaktail's wounds, worried.
