"..Well.. I actually just sleep quite a lot. I also annoy Butterscotch Cream whenever I see her -- same with Talon, though he comes through and leaves whenever it fits him best." She replied, shifting her weight as she let her gaze scan the fenced territory in front of her. The barn sat to the left, blocking sunlight from streaming into the grass roots. To the right of Noel's sight stood the very place she found the lost clan being let out of their cages. She blinked, trying to clear her vision as she watched cats gather around the same spot. She looked to Flamefall, a questioning stare shooting through the molly, though not intimidating. "Hey, aren't those your clanmates? ..Those are what they're called, yeah. Talon's here as well. Huh.." She asked, reassuring herself mid sentence as to not mess up her words.

Dovesong felt a flicker of jealousy in her chest, but crushed it away. "Maybe. I hope she's okay, though." What if the she-cat had been taken away by the two-legs? She crushed the part of her thoughts that wanted that. Stop, Doetail! Don't be fox-hearted.

willowbreeze smoothed cypresspaw's flank with her tail, trying to calm his nerves. "it'll be fine, a twig is perfect for when the contractions come. but right now, we need to look for herbs like raspberry and borage. can you do that for me?" she asked the young apprentice. from experience, willowbreeze knew that he could get frazzled. going about a kitting like you would normally go about your daily business is the best way to stay calm, especially for a kitting mother. she approached tornado slowly, not wanting to startle the she-cat.

Cypresspaw trotted away, taking one last glance at Willowbreeze before continuing his sprint. He recalled, when he first set foot in the sanctuary, that he saw a small bush growing through the wood planks of the fence. Raspberry, if he recalled correctly.
He turned a corner and dissapeared behind a tree, where he proceded to inspect the bush that was there.
''Raspberry.'' He murmured, carefully plucking out the leaves.

Immediately, Goldenpaw's eyes widened. "Bu- But that's against the warrior code! Leopardstrike would have my pelt!" She spluttered, shaking her head. "If it's the only way, sure, but if we can, let's just haul it up there. Plus, what if the other birds take notice that we're chomping away at their kin? That'll for sure make them angry, or at least alert enough to run," She squabbled, and despite her rumbling stomach and the fact that eating a little would probably be the most logical idea, she couldn't help but cringe when she imagined how Leopardstrike would reward her.

"Yeah, of course," He nodded, grinning. It was shocking how one she-cat could disappear so fast. "Good idea, where do you think she is?" He asked, cocking his head with curiosity, awaiting her reply. He wasn't sure whether her ear was flattened in jealousy or what, but he just assumed it was her stomach acting up and brushed it off. "Honestly, I don't think she could've gotten far, maybe just resting under tree shade or something."

Adderpaw rolled his eyes. Rules shmulse. he thought to himself. That's all any cat around here cares about. "Come on." he meowed turning around to face Goldenpaw. "You could hardly make it up the fence on your own and there's no way I can drag this thing up by myself." Adderpaw glanced down at his short legs. He wasn't that small for his age but the other male apprentices were big enough that they made him feel like he was. "We'll just eat enough to get it over the fence." He meowed looking back at the bird his mouth already watering.

her paws stung and her forelegs hurt. her little scavenge to hunt for an exit came to a failure, when she had walked the whole outside of the area. following a large fence that looked like what her cage was made of when she was brought to the lonesome place. at what she could only thing off was the end of this place. the only thing that soothed her about being in this situation currently is the peaceful chirping of the birds in the trees above. maybe they were also captured. she thought to herself with a distinct eye roll. she tilted her head back, gazing at the dimming blue sky, ruling out that the birds were also trapped here - because they could have just flown over the fence. grass clumps and dirt were stuck between her toes and she was almost for certain that she had a few thistles in her paws. and to top it all of, she had no idea where she was, nor how far the barn was from where she was. blinking away exhaustion her claws clenched under her at her stupidity to wander off alone in such a artificial and substantial place.

somehow, her paws lifted off the ground and a loud 'hmph' was muttered out her gray muzzle. tracing her steps back along the fence line her thoughts immediately drifting off to everything she had left at home. she didn't really leave that much at home, besides maybe a few friends - who in which probably didn't think of her as a friend. maybe as an acquaintance. she surely didn't miss her loneliness, though she felt all of it crashing down again on her now - knowing that maybe she had friends ( or friend ) to return too. thinking about it made her empty stomach flop, and give a little pip in her sluggish step. she knew it didn't take that long to walk the perimeter, but walking back felt like it took ages - every tree seemingly passed by in a slow haze. or maybe she was just dazed from the lack of food or her thoughts weren't keeping her all that company. paw step by paw step she eventually saw the big, red barn come into sight. taking her blue eyes off of it, she looked down at where the fence and the grassy dirt met. wondering if maybe she could dig her way out eventually. knowing her, she'd probably give up half way, though. breaking her thoughts away her gaze eventually trailed back up and focused on the barn in front of her. fluffy white clouds had formed above her, it was probably midway through the day, meaning most or atleast all cats were up. her ears pricked at the odd sound of claws clicking or scratching on a wood. trecking her way around the barn she spotted another cage full of animals. her fur instantaneously spiked up, even though she knew they couldn't get out - just looking at there red feathery fur made her feel uneasy. she slowly but steadily made her way over to them. they hadn't noticed her until she got nearer, and eye-locked with one of them. dragging her gaze slowly away she sniffed at the metal grate keeping them in, but flinched back when one of the animals pecked at her nose. she pulled back and swiped at the grate, frightening them all which made them flutter around wildly. putting her paw on her nose she could feel a pulse, but luckily it wasnt bleeding. she frowned and stepped back. her paw still on her nose when she heard a familiar voice, peeking her head out of the side of the cage, she spotted cinderfoot and another cat with him. she grinned and sprinted over to them, where also was a large tree. a grin plastered on her face. "cinderfoot, hi" her grin stayed when she looked over to the she-cat beside him, "hi i'm constance" she stated fondly. if she was going to be making friends in this clan, she may as well start with cinderfoots friends.

Dovesong jumped, and whirled around at a sudden voice. Then her muscles relaxed. "Hi. I'm Dovesong. We were looking for you!" She meowed in a friendly voice.

the gray and white she-cat slightly was taken back by the other she-cats reaction. but quickly softened her features and nodded at the white she-cat, surprised by how friendly she came off as. constance slightly swayed on her aching paws but sat down almost immediately, swiping her tongue over her paw. why would they be looking for me? was i really gone for that long? she thought to herself, a confused expression playing her features. "you guys were looking for me? why's that?" she said, her voice having a slight edge to it. she didn't think she did do anything wrong, but then again these clan cats have some weird ways and rules. she usually just did her own thing not thinking about other cats, considering she wasn't surrounded by other cats almost twenty-four-seven like they were.

Dovesong blinked. "Cinderfoot didn't know where you went. I asked if he'd like any help finding you, so here we are." She paused, wondering, before continuing. "Do you happen to know if there's any prey, or an exit?" She asked hopefully.

the speckled tom lay asleep in his nest up in the hay loft, his belly carelessly turned to the roof as he snored away leisurely. he groaned and tried to turn away as a ray of sunlight from a hole in the rotted wood beamed harshly down on his closed eyes. turning over and hauling himself to his paws, moo stretched. oh well, he could always sleep later. besides, he was getting pretty hungry. stepping down the wooden stepladder and padding outside he stumbled upon the clan cats and... one that seemed to be kitting. awkwardly making a mental note to avoid that for the day, moo quickly walked away across the clearing and hopped upon the front hood of the sanctuary's truck,

the abyssinian tom had practically been sleepless the last night.
he blinked lazily, his dark green irises partially illuminated by the light shining through the rafters. Jagger yawned silently and lay on the very edge of the loft, his front leg leisurely hanging off as he dozed in the sun.

doetail almost rolled her eyes playfully when nightclaw tried to conceal a laugh. "pf, alright. let's go." she chuckled, making sure to lightly bat the tom's whiskers with her tailtip as she padded past him to find their leader.

"i'll be honest, that sounds fun in itself." flamefall admitted, turning to groom her rather ragged-looking pelt as noel spoke. the she-cat perked up when her clanmates were mentioned. amber eyes scanning the clearing until she found them. "indeed they are." she paused. "...no idea what they're doing though." she shrugged rather dismissively.
