Coyotestar watched as the queen slept, he wasn't sleeping, just resting his eyes a bit, still alert. He was tired from the stress of the day, but nowhere near as tired as Nightflower would be.

Fallowstream couldn't help but laugh at her apprentice's unusual technique. "I told you flopping would work! I bet you have scales all over your belly fur now!" She walked over to help her apprentice get up by lifting him up by his scruff.

Hailpaw looked up at the warrior "You really think so?" She asked hopefully. She hoped that the kits were indeed in Starclan, playing happily. Listening to Sedgewhisker's words, Hailpaw felt reassured that it wasn't her fault, and that she really could be a great medicine cat into he future.

Shadepaw trotted deep into the woods, sniffing the air for prey. She halted when she scented something strange, something off-putting. Was that another cat she smelled? "Squirrelpaw," she whispered. "Can you smell that?"

The rouge saw that the cats behind the bushes were just two kits, probably no more than 12 moons old. He sat down and waited for them to find him, as they weren't a threat to him.
