Foxface stopped the grooming and visibly tensed at the question. She had avoided telling her kits anything about their father. She had been trying to hold out on the idea that Shadowstar would actually come by sometime and she could introduce him in person. But now she knew she couldn't just keep putting the subject off. "Your father...His name is Shadowstar. He is the leader of the clan." She started, trying to only give out the smallest bit of information possible. Perhaps it would be enough for Spottedkit to just know that she had a father and she wouldn't have to give out too much information about him yet. "I could tell you about how we first met as a story."

Spottedkit's eyes brightened. "Can you?" She squealed. "But first, can I meet him?" She said with wide eyes.

Shadowstar growled. "Why is it to your concern? Get back to camp. That's final," he hissed, running to the camp and placing himself on high rock.


Winter watched Loki carefully

Soul watched as Winter was swaying her tail violently. He slipped from his hiding spot. "Now now, no need to get your tail in a knot, ladies," he said, his cunning blue eyes narrowing. "Tense is not the answer, you see, Loki is wrong. Fighting is the answer, and so Trap is correct."


(Foxface had accidental kits, Winter and Loki are fighting Trap))

"I don't know." Foxface said with a glance towards the den entrance, trying to see if she could catch a glimpse of Shadowstar somewhere outside. She could just barely spot the tom sitting up on high rock. "I could take you all to say hello but he isn't always very friendly." She meowed while standing up, "You'll need to promise to behave and not pester him too much, okay?"

Spottedkit bounced happily. "Thank you! I promise I won't! Let's go let's go!" She said excitedly


Shadowstar stood on the high rock, watching his clan. He jumped down to walk to the the fresh-kill pile.

"Pfft. Who might you be?" He said, his head tilting as he licked his shoulder wound. "This fight doesn't concern you, it's just between two dumb she cats." he scoffed.

She followed carefully, once they reached camp she set herself pretty far away and groomed her fur.


Littlekit:

She trailed behind slowly for her legs were quite little, Littlekit squelded when she saw a big brown tom that stood proudly on a rock.

Winter turned and him a cold look. "Excuse me?" She said coldly.


Soul sat down and licked his brown paw. "I believe like this battle is none of my concern, my name is none of yourse," he said. He laid his eyes on Thorn.

Foxface gave Spottedkit a quick lick to the top of her head as she murmured, "Calm down, hun." She nudged Dark-kit awake so that he wouldn't miss out on meeting his father. The queen grabbed Littlekit by her scruff before herding her other kits outside for the fist time in their lives. She guided them over to the leader once she noticed he had moved positions and stopped just in front of him. "Hello." She greeted after setting Littlekit down so she could stand on her own.
