Hawkfang didn't move from her position. She also purred, a deep rumbling sound. Her voice was more like a puma's growl than the average she-cat's purr. It was typical for members of her family, and she felt at home in FrostClan. This was where she would always stay. Hawkfang needed something to protect, and she had FrostClan.
Her Clanmates would always be worth fighting for. Worth dying for.

Cinderpaw noticed that her denmate Icepaw seemed confused. She edged closer, but she really didn't need to. Cinderpaw had a deep-throated voice that could carry across camp, if she needed it to. "It must be important if the medicine cat is on the Highrock," she added to Owlface's comment.

Cinderpaw shrugged lightly with one shoulder. "Brokenstar went out with a patrol earlier." It was Leaf-bare, so the days were short. Brokenstar had probably left before the sun rose.
"I'm not sure what Willowfrost wants to say. Maybe she got a prophecy. Those always interested me."

Cinderpaw purred slightly in amusement. "You just want to go hunt, don't you?" she asked. Icepaw seemed like she really didn't want to be here.

She meowed sternly "i will organised the patrols right now , hawkfang,Featherclaw, icepaw, and owlface will go on a hunting patrol led by hawkfang" she meowed nodded to the cats " and darkstorm, spidermist, oneear, blackpaw, and cinderpaw will go on a border patrol, lead by darkstorm, over on the thunderpath near the other thunderpath"

Owlface growled to Icepaw "show more respect to Starclan" he said watching his apprentice

Oneear frowned "Where is Brokenstar? Why isn't she telling us?" She asked more worried then challenging anything.

Blackpaw looked up at Hawkfang "good luck hunting" she said softly lightly brushing the older cats side with her tail in respect and stated to trot over for the border patrol.

"Marshkit is becoming an apprentice soon."
"Yes!" Marshkit squealed, racing out into the snow as he shrieked in happiness. "I'm becoming an apprentice! I'm gonna be a warrior, then deputy, and then the Clan leader! I'm the best!"
Now he had exhausted himself, so he leaned against the nearest cat. It happened to be the medicine cat apprentice, Echopaw. "Hi," the affectionate kit said sleepily. "You're warm."

"You got your answer," Cinderpaw meowed to Icepaw, nudging her denmate in a friendly way. "And of course. I hope you catch lots of prey for us."
She approached the deputy Darkstorm, ready for the border patrol.
"On our way to the Thunderpath, can you tell us more about MossClan?" Cinderpaw asked.

"Yes, ma'am." Hawkfang straightened up to her full height. It wasn't a surprise that some cats called her 'the mountain'.
"Have fun patrolling," she murmured to Blackpaw, whiskers twitching in amusement. Hawkfang flexed her claws, then sheathed them and waited for the others to gather. She was too big for stealthy hunting, so she would let the others do the stalking while she protected them and guarded the prey.
