Pikeflower closed his eyes as he said, "I recommend that you do. It is unhealthy otherwise." His body was tense, displaying obvious signs of being of edge to a cat who could actually see him, but he was trying to appear much calmer. As if he didn't care about the current conversation at all. But it wasn't the truth. He still cared for Mistyclaw, being someone's mate for so many moons could leave that lasting impression on some cats even when that mate seriously hurts them, and wanted her to be happy and healthy but he did not love her. He couldn't ever go back to that. Not after she willingly single handily ruined their entire relationship and shattered every ounce of trust he had for her. There had been a period when, out of desperation to save their relationships and not be abandoned, that he might have been willing to work things out but Mistyclaw choose to just leave the clan instead because he wouldn't instantly forgive her and move on leading him to believe that she had no desire at the time to fix things. Whether it was because she was impatient and unwilling to slowly work with him or because she just wanted a reason to run off and be on her own didn't matter. He was not going to just sit around and wait for her to work through whatever she had going on when he was quiet clearly the suffering party here that needed support and reassurance. One-eye was here when he so desperately needed someone. Not Mistyclaw.
Wolfpaw stepped away from her adoptive sibling to allow him to sit up. She eyed the kit with suspicion and even backed off a step. Being raised basically apart from the entire clan and in a den instead that was typically only occupied by her family, she wasn't the most social of cats. In her mind, everyone she wasn't extremely close to was cause for suspicion. They had the potential to harm herself or those she cared about. Physically or emotionally. She was certain that the only reason anyone who wasn't her family would approach her would be either to try and cause pain or for some self advantageous reason. There was no reason to ever need to interact with strangers when she had family to socialize with whenever she felt the need to do so.
"My name is Wildpaw. And this is Wolfpaw." The large tom introduced both himself and his sister since she didn't seem exactly eager to introduce herself. Like Wolfpaw, he wasn't exactly an outgoing cat but he didn't quite harbor the 'guilty until proven innocent' attitude of suspicion that his sister seemed to have in regard to everyone who wasn't her immediate family. He would converse, just wouldn't be one to walk up to someone and actually start chatting to them.

Wildpaw had never actually had anyone outright mention his size before. At least not in such a direct manner. Thay wasn't to say that he wasn't aware of his size, because he very much was, but he was just surprised at the question. "It's just how I was born I guess." He responded after a moment of hesitation, "Or maybe I drank the most milk. Grew the fastest so now I'm just bigger." He knew he wasn't born to his mother or even anyone in the clan just like his siblings weren't but he didn't quite have the knowledge of being an entirely different species than them. There were other large cats in the clan so he figured it was just something that happened.
