❧ Grows foods and spices for himself in a garden behind his little cottage that resides beside a break in the woods where the river curves.
❧ Has a coup of chickens and a single goat whom he cares for and who are usually his only company when he is home.
❧ Travels to towns and cities once a month to submit his work, find new jobs, and buy the necessities he cannot provide for himself.
❧ Despite voluntarily living a mostly solitary life, he gets very lonely and has a terrible habit of reading romantic fantasy, young adult, and sci-fi novels to fill the void of social interactions.
❧ He is very wary of the intentions of other people after having been used by people in the past, which is a part of why he has trouble meeting new people and making friends- the other part being that he is naturally very shy and nervous.
❧ Big cities are too noisy and busy for him to stand staying in for long as they worry his fragile nerves to bits.
❧ When Emrys finds someone that he likes and comes to trust them, he can be very clingy to them. Not necessarily in a physical sense, but rather he depends on them when he feels lonely.
❧ Because it takes a long time to earn his trust and affection, breaking either will destroy the relationship that was built between him and another as he can never bring himself to give people second chances because he feels it is too painful to bare.
