Piper blushed a little, not comfortable with being praised in such a way. Or in anyway for that matter. But she decided to keep the subject off of her and comment on her brother. "D-Does he now? H-He sounds amazing. I u-use to love animals b-back on Earth." She said in that quiet tone of hers.

London frowned a little, noting the sudden tension surrounding Chester. Maybe he had sad something wrong? He hoped not. He made a small squeeze as well and made a mental note to ask about it later. "We would find him in the main lab, hopefully. If he was anywhere else then I'm not sure where we'd look."

Melanie shook her head slowly, blue eyes still trained sadly on the wall. "Just his name and that we were very close somehow... But I guess that's what you should expect with having amnesia. I barely know a thing about myself." She added with a chuckle, as if she was trying to push the sadness away with a light laugh.

Julius huffed, already feeling the slight burning sensation that came with alcohol use. It was uncomfortable and he didn't like it. He'd never drunken anything before, seeing as on Earth, when he still lived with his aunt, alcohol was banned from the household. And despite not liking her, he respected rules and boundaries. A bad habit he believed. So being a non-drinker at twenty-five was the natural route right? But he reeeally needed this day off. "Alright, alright, I'm drinking it..." He pouted before gingerly placing the bottle to his lips on more and beginning to drink the beer. He shivered with every gulp but he fought through it until the bottle was empty and he was left dizzy... "So disgusting...." He said slowly, wondering how long it would take to get this out of his system.

Rei huffed, eating the last piece of whatever strange thing he had found in this planet's trees. He was sure he would die from whatever -fruit maybe?- it was but hunger was hunger and he'd whether die on a full stomach. Not to mention how fin her felt now. His golden eyes gazed around curiously but rather boredly. He'd been roaming around without sleep for a day in a half and he was desperately seeking a place to just lie down and sleep. Sadly he's had no success. As a Rouge he couldn't get a home in the buildings built here so that wasn't an option. And just laying on the ground in some random spot only gets you a nasty pecking from those weird bird things. I just wanna a nap! He whined mentally, showing the pout on his face though.

He glanced to the side, his hands around his shirt as it was pulled up halfway already
"You need to feed ze children.. Now is not ze time.." he said with a stern face over the noise of the water
He then turned his back to Morna and threw his shirt to the side before moving for his pants

He nodded and thought for a moment
"Right.. Vell.. Ve are done talking about zis.. No more." he said and nudged her a bit
"Time for breakfast.."
And tried to get up to move for the ktichen

She chuckled. "I need to feed them when they tell me they're hungry. I fed them in the middle of the might only a few hours ago remember?" She asked softly as she wrapped her hands around his waist and kissed his shoulder sweetly. Edward was much taller than her

He stood there a moment, watching her with a frown
"Melanie.." he said gently, coming back to sit on his knees beside her back, and rubbed her shoulders softly
"You cannot mope around.. I'll see to it you're up and around by ze time I get back from updating ze computers." he said before moving to stand, and leaving her alone before heading out and getting back to the lab
Silence surrounded them both, he stood at the computer and typing in code while sighing
It was different to have her not there

"Yes.." he muttered before smiling a bit, and moving to kiss her cheek
"But I still need a shower.. maybe just zis von time.. I take it alone?" he asked gently before raising his eyebrows
"I just.. need to be alone for today.."

She hummed. "Alright baby. I'll leave you alone" she said sweetly before kissing his cheek and heading out. She went out and stood by her children, gently caressing their small heads as they slept soundly. She went and sat beside them in the floor and began to stitch some clothing for the two

No words were spoken to her boss. Melanie just laid there in silence, minus the soft breathing. She stayed like even when he was out the door. She sighed briefly. She never liked sitting still and doing nothing, but she didn't want to get up either. She could always go back to sleep and experience another blank dream. Those were always welcoming... though it felt odd not watching Josef and making sure he wasn't hurting himself..

Though at one point, he made his way over to a computer and clicked it a few times
Bringing up soundbites from Germany
Though what was heard, wasn't music.. it was birds
And the soft chatter of people

He was in there for a while, until he came out an hour and a half later very much cleaned up
He had shaved too, trimming up his mustache cleanly, and trimming his hair as well
And now in his usual boots, and pants and grey shirt outfit
"Vaht are you doing, mein lieber?" he asked, seeing her on the ground sewing

Melanie eventually fell asleep again, unable to continue staring at the wall any longer. She woke up with a heavy yawn and stretched as she climbed out of bed. She took a quick shower before her stomach began to rumble. She put a quick outfit, not bothering to fix her hair and instead putting it in a ponytail like usual, and e ft for the lab. "Hungry...." She demanded to Josef once she saw him, rubbing her eyes.
