He was stitched up because he got in an accident. He is the son of Frankenstein and his father didn't want him to die. He was stitched up with new organs that would handle the resurrection and he was turned into a monster. He slowly grew accustomed to everything because he wasn't dead as long as his fathers brother was. He was able to handle all the things and he had healed quickly through it all. He still has the scars though and they will never disappear because they tie pieces of his dead skin together.
