Greynose nodded his head in agreement to what Eaglefeather suggested, sitting there quietly as he spoke before rising to his paws. "Alright lets go check to see who'll come, I'm sure their mentors will be okay with it. It still is letting them get to know a skill they will need in the future" He stated calmly, glancing over at Eaglefeather and waving his tail to signal him to follow him. Although before he moved he dipped his head in thanks towards Mistystar "We'll see that the exspansion starts as soon as it can" He meowd towards her before padding towards the apprentice's den, hopping the younger tom was following him.

Topaz happily bent down and took the final bite of the mouse before tossing the leftover bones aside, she then glanced back at the Healer and listened to her speak as she chewed. The Russian blue then felt her pelt spike up a tiny bit in disbelief as she swallowed her mouthful "Really? I don't see why not... Plus now you're the main Healer now. I think you could! It's loads of fun and it could give you a small bre-" The she-cat was then cut off by a voice mewing a greeting from them from behind. Topaz turned her head and met Crowe's gaze before meowing a "Heya" towards him. She wasn't really too thrilled of him going on speaking as he had interrupted her speaking but what he said made her eyes shine. She turned her head over and smiled at Juniper "That'd be great! How about i show you some hunting techniques?! It'd be fun!"Topaz purred, offering the healer a friendly wink before looking back at Crowe and rising to her paws.

Specklednose let out a small sigh as he saw her limp out of the den and he even took a few steps forward to silently watch her pad towards the fresh-kill pile. Just to make sure she got there without falling or something before turning his head around to tend to the herb piles again. He scanned them and took a mental note that they had a severe shortage of poppyseeds. The ginger tabby knew that the main patch of poppyseeds was growing slowly and had a dangerously low amount growing there. He just figured they could try and work with the little poppyseeds they had left or by some miracle he could find another patch growing somewhere, which was very unlikely.

Ross's head jerked up as he heard his mentor Crowe call him to wake up for a hunting patrol. The young white furred tom sat up in his nest and let out an annoyed snort as he heard his sister Icicle softly snoring from a nest over, he felt a pang of envy towards her. It wasn't fair that she got to sleep longer today! Although he shook it off and flicked his sister's nose with his tail in an attempt to wake her up but it did nothing as she just squirmed and rolled over on her side. Ross rolled his eyes and groggily padded out of the den. Squinting his eyes from the sun as he looked around for Crowe who he eventually found by the fresh- kill pile with Topaz and Juniper. He just slowly padded over and silently stood behind him waiting for his mentor to acknowledge him once he finished talking with the two she-cats.

Juniper's nerves were rushing with excitement. A real chance to try hunting, and it was with Crowe! She kinda had a teensy weensy feeling in her that she knew meant that she liked Crowe, more than in the clanmate to clanmate respect. Ever since she was an to-be, watching him train. She had become clan healer at 5 moons, earlier than her brothers and sisters, but that was besides the point. She had been quite advanced, already having memorized half the herbs that the former Healer knew. Some days, when she was sorting aimlessly through herbs, she would stare out the door at Crowe, training or talking with clanmates, and mistakenly once she'd sorted the wrong herbs into the wrong pile and she'd been scolded by her mentor. That was how Crowe made her feel.

Gee, I hope I don't mess up knowing that he's watching. Juniper pushed the thought away, telling herself that he'd understand, knowing that she was an inexperienced hunter, like a new to-be who's being taught the proper stealth for the first time. She's only been taught defense moves, that, and herb remedies, names, etc. "I think I'll tag along, Crowe. I may try hunting if I feel like it, something new to do in my free time. I don't need any herbs, I've gathered all I can for the season right now, I need to wait another moon before gathering any more, or I'll risk them not growing back again next season after leaf-bare. Anyways, the clan could always use more food, that is, of course, if I can catch anything." Juniper smiled at Crowe before looking to the ground, nervous, the feeling of butterflies lurking in her stomach, but she knew she was going to try her best at this new skill.

The soft black tom yawned, and was out of the apprentice den after a few moments. "I wonder if Lightpelt left, or maybe she's still sleeping. ." He muttered, trying to be as quiet as he could be.

The sleek brown tom stretched until he heard a loud pop from one of his joints, and abruptly stopped. "Oh, this is what I get for trying to be cool and pop my joints when I was younger. ." He mumbled, now walking out of the den.

"Very true Mistystar." Eaglefeather nodded in agreement, "Do not worry! Greynose and I will find help and get started right away." He exclaimed, turning quickly to catch up with Greynose. When he reached the middle of camp, he saw Twistedpaw sitting near the freshkill pile with a rather bored look on her face. Eaglefeather slowed down and approached her slowly. "Hey Twistedpaw! Would you care to join us? We are going to be expanding the warrior's den, and we could really use your help." Eaglefeather said cheerfully, his usually dull golden eyes were now shining brightly.

Nikita, who had been following Percy out of the Sharpclaw's den, heard the unmistakable sound of a popping joint or bone. He cringed, and narrowed his eyes at the tom sympathetically. "You should get that checked, my friend. What good is a sharpclaw if his bones are making sounds like the river ice breaking up during the spring thaw?" He said in a firm tone, but in a good natured sort of way, so that the aging tom wouldn't take it the wrong way.

Greynose quickly turned his head to glance back at Eaglefeather as he approached Twistedpaw then turned his head back around to see a small fluffy black tom padding up to him. He recognized it to be one of the apprentices, Duskpaw. Greynose felt a small smile slide across his face as he saw him "Sure, I was actually just looking for someone to help and I think you'll do perfectly. We're expanding the warrior's den for the growth of warriors" Greynose purred towards the young cat, his light gray tail waving slowly low near the ground.

Topaz frouned as Juniper responded directly to Crowe and not her since she asked the question. Although it soon dawned on her that the two where acting a bit strangely around eachother. The Russian blue then felt a smirk slide across her face as she padded foreward a bit "Alright you two can get lost in eachother's eyes later, we gotta patrol don't we?" She purred, winking towards the two of them before padding towards the camp's entrance. She didn't care if she just embarrassed them, it was obvious that there was something silently going on there between them and she couldn't help but speak her mind.

Twistedpaw ate a rough half of the hare, dragging the other half over toward the medicine den. leaving it outside, the female retreated back toward the fresh-kill pile, sitting back down. as eaglefeather padded over to request her help, the medicine cat apprentice smiled up at the black and white tom, nodding her approval. "I don't see why not. you don't mind having to wait for me?" she then asked, her ears flattening slightly; she hated being unable to function like a normal feline. lowering her gaze to her paws, the medicine apprentice stood up, nearly his height, and hesitantly met his gaze.

Tallshadow lead the way into the forest, his chin tilted up toward the sky, almost as though he was defying the very sun itself. the scents of wildlife, earth and decaying leaves flooded his nostrils; this was the scent of home. as leafstorm veered off the path, the lithe tom did the same in the other direction, maw parted slightly to distinguish each scent. hearing the deputy call out to him, the dusky silver warrior flicked his ears in acknowledgement, in hot pursuit of a raven. after managing to get a few tail-lengths away from the iridescent creature, tallshadow sprang, dealing a quick blow to the throat.

Leopardfern yawned softly, relaxing in the sun's warm embrace. suddenly, her mate was at her side, nearly giving her a heart attack. "midnightgaze! what have I told you about doing that?" she scolded him sternly, carefully hauling herself into a sitting position. lapping affectionately at his cheek, the bengal shrugged her shoulders, emerald green eyed gleaming with renewed amusement. "I'm much better now. thank you, love." she giggled, nuzzling into his short fur. no matter where she was; he would always be her home.

Tempest sat outside of her den, lapping at her thick pelt. spotting percy and nikita interacting outside the sharp-claw's den, the female decided to bring them along on a hunting patrol. due to the season, prey would soon be very scarce. padding over to join them as a cool breeze tugged at her coat, the leader smiled at the two of them, her foul mood forgotten. "good morning, loves. care to accompany me on a hunting patrol?" the regal feline asked curiously, cocking her cranium to the side, crystalline blue pools gleaming.

Crowe flicked his ears in acknowledgement as ross appeared behind him, though made no move to turn toward him. it was more than evident that topaz was not quite pleased with his interruption, but it appeared she did like the reason behind it. hearing juniper speak, the tom grinned from ear to ear, emerald green eyes gleaming at her words. the younger healer seemed determined to succeed, and he enjoyed that characteristic in her. the sharp-claw had always known she was ambitious, becoming the healer's to-be a moon before her siblings had. if that wasn't ambitious, he hadn't a clue as to what was. see, crowe had always been intrigued by her work; sometimes, when she was working, he would hover nearby and study the herbs and how to properly use them; he could practically identify everything in the healer's den by scent alone at this point, but he was sure that she had never seen him.

the ebony tom studied her for a moment, taking in her dark tabby pelt. she was beautiful, that was for sure. "I'm sure that topaz is more than willing to teach you. come along, keep to the middle if you could, as I would prefer that you did not get hurt under my watch." he chuckled, jerking his chin for she, ross and sterling to follow. of course, due to him being assigned to lead the patrol, he would spearhead it with his apprentice at his side, then with topaz and sterling boxing juniper in between them. offering the pretty tabby a reassuring smile, the tom pressed his nose gently to her cheek as a reassurance before moving to take his place in the front.

Sterling watched the entire scene from afar, amusement written clearly across his face. leave it to his mentor to break up a beautiful moment. grinning at the thought, the blue and gray tabby padded across the clearing to join the four of them, tail flicking. excited to get out of camp, the male slowed his pace to stand beside juniper, across from his mentor on the healer's other flank. he simply wanted to do two things; one was to show off his skills, and the other was to see cricketpaw, both his crush and best friend.

Eaglefeather smiled patiently, he had known Twistedpaw since they were kits, after all he was only three moons older than she. He already knew that she got sort of shy or quiet sometimes, and he had always been tolerant towards her, as well as very forgiving. His friendly eyes met hers and he quietly assumed that she was just nervous. "Not at all, it would be great for you to join our little 'den patrol' or whatever Mistystar calls it." He said jokingly. He actually approved of Mistystar's name for their project, his true intention was to make Twistedpaw smile.

Nikita looked up as Tempest came towards them, then nodded appreciatively to her offer. He was glad for the opportunity to finally try and catch some prey. It had been a since a while since he had been on a hunting patrol. Instead, he had been put on the border patrol for three days in a row. "Alright." Nikita told her, then quietly waited for her directions. He glanced at Percy, who seemed a little too keen on going hunting with the leader. But then again, Tempest had many admirers, so he was not at all surprised by the tom's eagerness.
