He perked up his head swiftly as he heard Silentear scream, he noticed it made little kit jump. Anyway, he thinks: What happened? Is Foxkit really dead? What if someone did something? He wasn't sure, but he didn't spot littleflame anywhere, or bramblestorm at that, he stood there, a tear starting to come down on his face, his green eyes dilated on Foxkit, he still was puzzled and he started to shake whiten thoughts...oh the horror!

Nightheart quickly walks to the nursery with some herbs. He pushes past the other cats to set the herbs to the side and then examining foxkit. He moves his mouth open and his eyes grow dark "he was poisoned."

Silentear's ears went back as she saw the kit jump, though the sight of the lifeless Foxkit still shook her, so she quickly exited the Nursery and sat just outside. She'd never had kits of her own, but had remembered seeing many kits born in the clan, and had always been fond of them.

Rising to his paws, the old tom's eyes flicked around camp sleepily. His ears flicked at the sudden burst of noise from the nursery, bringing a soft frown to his face.
'Is someone kitting?' he thought to himself, quickly giving his chest fur a few licks before exiting the den and making his way toward something the nursery. Popping his head into the den, his pale yellow eyes blinked slowly. "What's going oOOON- HOLY MOTHER OF STARCLAN, FOXKIT!"
His eyes widened as he saw the dead body of Foxkit on the den's floor, blood and foam dribbling from her mouth. The scent of death seemed to smack him in the face, waking him up instantly. His blood ran cold as his apprentice came to the observation that the little kit had been poisoned, which clearly explained the blood and foam around the little kit's muzzle. "I'll... I'll go get a few leaves to help move her body..." he said slowly, exiting the den as quickly as he had entered it, beelining straight for his own den to get the supplies he needed.

Lakeripple looked at Nightheart as he checked Foxkit with round eyes. When he announced that Foxkit had been poisoned, she asked to no-one in particular, "Who would kill a kit? Why would anycat even think about killing another cat?"

Nightheart looks at his mentor and watches them LEAF then examines foxkit more to see what berry she had eaten

He turned around, some tears were on his eyes as Lakeripple had randomly announced something: "I hope it wasn't from our clan..." He whispered to him self, starring at nightheart examining Foxkit with worry and saddened eyes. His scar on his left eye started to sting a bit from tears, he lifted a paw and and wiped his eye, of course, it was blind anyway.

The tom had woken up to yowls of other cats. Half-asleep but still willing to help he darted out of the apprentice den and mewed, "How can I help?" He wasn't sure what happened, probably an elder had found a particularly large tick in their bedding, but as his half-shut eyes toke in the scene he noticed a small limp body in the midst of it all, "What happened?" Foxkit, surely she couldn't be dead?
