She realized that Shadowstar was the father now, "But Foxface- Don't you love her?" Sagewind asked almost hurt.

"Mother. She's a loner." He growled slightly, his tail swaying in annoyance. "Why waste my energy on her? Then I won't have any left to train." He said with a yawn.

Thorn swayed her head around, letting out a hiss. "But she-" she turned to the she-cat, her eyes blazing with fury. "This, vermin is more important now, Loki. I want her filthy hide out of my sight. Out of my territory. Chase her!"

(idk some rogues are talking/fighting or something, a new medicine cat apprentice joined, and berryleaf is talking to willowfur)

Berryleaf approached Willowfur. "Beautiful day, isn't it?," the small tom said. He had some yarrow in his mouth and set it down. "What is the matter? Shouldn't you be in a patrol or hunting? Doing something for the good of your clan?" Berryleaf wasn't trying to be judgy, just wanted to get everything ready for leafbare of course.

Foxface slowly groomed one of her kits at random. Days seemed to both drag on and fly by at the same time. It was incredibly boring to just sit in this lonely den day and and day out with no contact with anyone aside from her kits but with every passing day she could see her kits growing bigger and knew that, as much as she would like them to, they weren't going to be little kittens forever. Dark-kit had already opened his eyes and she presumed the others would shortly follow. Not long after that they would begin to walk and talk and show their own little individual personalities. And not once had Shadowstar even looked at them yet.

"Of course not!" He hissed. "I didn't think you were foolish enough for me to want have her kits. I never wanted kits in the first place."
