Ladybug was surprised it was so quiet. She continued swinging and landed on a building, panting. She had to get out of her home, to keep her parents safe. The newest rumour made her panic. Some of her own guards had said assassins wanted her. She did her best to hide but where could she hide? She didn't want to hide now. She wanted to do some damage, but without Cat Noir she was an easy target. After a while she assumed she was safe. A bit shaken but safe, and not hurt at all. She wanted to put off telling Cat Noir who she really was. She crouched behind a chimney. "This is happening too fast. At this rate she would never get to tell Cat Noir how she really felt. Plus she couldn't just stay where she was. "At least I lost them for now." She sighed. "But seriously who wants me so bad?" She frowned lost in thought.

Chat turned away from the bloody alley. He lowered his clawed hand as he walked away. He listened to the area around him and felt a panic come over him. Though he didn't know why he ran after the place it had started to grow stronger. He searched the area he had ran towards. He looked around his sense alert. He jumped onto the roofs with his staff and searched the area quickly.

Ladybug froze. She had landed on the same building as Cat Noir. Usually she didn't mind but she didn't want him getting hurt or finding out who she was just yet. It wasn't safe. She looked around to make sure she was safe from assassins, besides they would have a death wish if they went anywhere near Cat Noir. "Hey Kitty. You look a bit panicked. What's wrong?" Ladybug asked, walking up to him. The closer she was to him, it made her feel safe.

Chat jumped and turned to see Ladybug. He smiled nervously and hid his hand that had bits of blood still on them. "Nothing...I just feel that something bad is going to happen. Were you running from anyone?" He looked at her hoping she wouldn't ask about his hand. He needed to keep his assassin life out of her mind.

Ladybug didn't ask about his hand. When asked if she was running from anyone she decided she had to lie to him. "No. Just thought I'd drop by. Something bad? Like what?" Ladybug asked fully alert and ready to move if anyone came for her. No it was better to stay with her kitty cat. "The worst I can come up with is being too far from you during a fight. Sure I can fight solo but I prefer to fight alongside you." She said.

Chat looked at her closely and knew she was lying. She couldn't get a lot past him probably because of all they had been through. He shrugged knowing she wouldn't change what she said. He smirked and leaned a little closer to her, "I feel the love, Bugaboo." He then straightened him self with a sigh, "I feel like I'm being watched. I came over here because I had a bad sense telling me to come this way. When I found you I was scared that it ma have something to do with you."

Ladybug appreciated the concern. She sighed and decided he deserved the truth. "I've been trying to get away from assassins since I came out here. But I don't know why they would try to come after me again. I don't think going back home is a good idea. I'd hate to lead them there." Ladybug said.

Chat growled hearing a noise just below them. "Hush. I think they are here." He watched them walk away and move their heads around. She wasn't lying about them trying to find her then. He gave her his hand and he winked, "Want to come to my hide out? No one is able to find it unless they followed us, but I doubt it." He tilted his head wondering if she would take his hand. He looked around wondering how they should stay away from the assassins. "I don't think I would want you to be alone for now, My Lady."

"Considering I don't think it's wise to be alone, I'll come with you." Ladybug whispered, taking his hand. "Let's go." She knew they couldn't fight all of these assassins right now. And she did need a safe place to stay.

Chat smirked and raced forward jumping from roof to roof making sure she was able to stay with him. The assassins saw them and he rolled his eyes and a mischevious smile appeared on his face. He jumped catching ladybug and landed in the shadows. He placed her down with a wink and took her hand once more running along each shadow. The assassins had a hard time finding them and they finally lost track of the two. Chat finally made it to his hide out and turned to Ladybug with a bow, "My Lady. Welcome to my humble abode."
