What Are Amprotias?
Amprotias are large nocturnal rodents that live primarily underground. They're built with powerful claws and back legs for burrowing deep into the earth and packing dirt to make their subterranean burrows.
When female Ambrotias give birth, their body can't handle the stress and they very rarely survive. (1/1,000) The creatures are born with their eyes open and a sturdy, thick pelt on their backs to protect them from predators. During adolescence, the rodents take the mask of their mother to cover their developing skulls until their retractable front claws are strong enough to carve their own based on their personality and preferences.

Sizes and Stats
-Standard Amprotias are around 7.5 ft tall.
-Although they're carnivores, most aren't hostile towards humans.
-Once two Amprotias mate, it's assumed that the mother dies. In most cases, the baby goes to the mother's owner. In the rare event that the mother survives, the baby's fate is decided by the owner of the parents.

-short/no antennae
-very little or no glow
-mask type A
**Uncommon Traits**
-few line edits (1-3 small edits)
-long tail
-medium/long antennae
-standard glow

-XL tail
-XL antennae
-bright/extended glow (more than one area)
-mask type C
**Very Rare Traits**
-major line edits
-no tail
-more than one pair of antennae
