I soon brought down the deer, making sure to thank it as I did so. It was a thing I liked to do. I sniffed the air, doing my usual check to make sure there wasn't a scavenging animal nearby. I usually made sure to definitely leave them some if there were, to help 'em out a bit. Instead, I caught the scent of pine trees and wet rocks. It smelled kind of mixed, and if I carefully went over it it, it was definitely a living creature. "Who's there?" I asked after a while, my tail slowly wagging.

I tilted my head a bit. My tail wagged a bit more, and I looked curiously at this new wolf. "What's your name? My name's Willow." I said in a jolly yet slightly cautious tone. I just met this new wolf, so I had to be cautious, whether I wanted to be or not. She looked trustworthy though, so I didn't think that would be too much of a problem.
