Also do keep in mind that rarity wise, a huge trade up like this could be hard to find

advent trading!

i've offered a tier 3 peppermint bun and mixed rares on a tier 7 dark husky, but my trade partner is concerned about the demand difference. i assumed that the 'gaps list' took demand into account because most of tier 3 is buns and all of tier 7 is dogs?

but any advice would be very much appreciated!

No, it's super unfair for you. (All store pets are very rare, just an fyi) The dog is worth a 2010 rare and it actually has a bit of a demand and they did not even add any uncommons. Also, trading your dog for a ton of commons and below is a really bad idea because it's quite impossible to trade those back for a store pet.
