I HAVE A QUESTION!
TYPE OF QUESTION:Math (calculus 2)
YOUR QUESTION:how do I go about proving Alpha = Beta for the Reflective properties of Parabola. I am aware there are multiple ways but I have been unable to find anything in my notes, my book, or from the teacher to help me understand the process (which I am 99% sure is from geometry, and I haven't used in 11 years)
*I may have figured it out, but I need to see if my teacher says it's acceptable. Literally, I haven't seen this stuff since sophomore year of high school >x<

There are 2.205 lbs in 1 kg/0.454 kg in 1 lb. So, you need to set up a conversion based on this.
70 lb = ? kg
70 lb * 0.454 kg / 1 lb = ? kg
OR
70 lbs * 1 kg / 2.205 lbs = ? kg
Now solve to convert 70 lbs to kg.
Set up the same type of conversion to covert 80 kg to lbs.

I HAVE A QUESTION!TYPE OF QUESTION:Science Report
YOUR QUESTION:I'm having trouble writing an hypothesis for a lab report in my biology class. The lab involved putting five unknown substances through various trials, testing to identify if they included some specific organic compounds within them (glucose, starch, proteins, and lipids specifically.) Theoretically, one would have been able to guess what the substance was from these results, but since we did not run the full version of the lab not enough data was collected to make a definitive call on any one substance (and the teacher has assured us this was the result we were supposed to come to).
But regardless, I still need to write a report, understandably so. And a science report must be based around a hypothesis, which I'm just having the toughest time with. I don't want to sound like I'm listing off unknown substances, and organic compound, and test procedures in my hypothesis, because this lags down the paper and doesn't look or sound correct. We are NOT supposed to list. However, there are four trials (Benedict's test, Lugol's iodine test, Biuret's test, and the brown paper test) , four compounds (glucose, starch, proteins, and lipids), and five mystery substances that must be addressed by this hypothesis.
I'd be ever so thankful if someone could help me understand how to make a non-listing hypothesis for this situation. I know roughly what I want to write, I just don't know how to make my idea into words without listing tons of information. Also, it should be noted this teacher is highly preferential to the "If__ then__" format when it comes to writing.
Thanks so much in advance.

Something like "If we run a set of four tests to determine the presence of potential, common organic compounds on each of five unknown substances, then we should be able to determine which common organic compound(s) are present in each unknown substance"?
Basically, describe what you're doing on what. What kind of testing are you preforming? What are you looking for? What are you testing on? Generally describe these steps.
