When the first Pirates of
the Caribbean movie came
out Akin made Aeroth go
see it with him and she
scoffed at the idea at first
thinking that a pirate movie
was silly but when she
watched the whole thing
she was sold for life. She
would make Aeroth go with
her to every pirate movie,
every pirate festival, and
even binge on kids meals for
some pirate related collectible
figurine. Heck all she lets
them eat is Capt’n Crunch
cereal. Every Halloween
they’d dress up as a pair and
she wasn’t able to be a pirate
then since they spun a wheel
to determine it. This year it
landed on Disney movies and
she went straight for Pirates of
the Caribbean

May 6th, 2016. The date
of the movie that, to Akin
conquered almost all others.
Captain America: Civil War
had been greatly anticipated
by Akin for several months,
to the point that he nearly
drove Aeroth mad. He adores
action movies and could not
wait to see the play out of
this new movie. When he finally
saw it, he quickly began to
adore three characters: Spiderman,
Black Panther, and the Winter
Soldier. Assuming the other two
would be greatly popular,
Akin went to work with making
his Winter Soldier outfit.
It took him a while to find all
of the utensils needed to make
it, and after numerous nights
of loud sounds and candy filled
midnight's, it was done!

Akin is a self-employed video game
designer who earns a profit from others who
buy his games. He spends hours at his computer
set typing and drawing and coding to get the
graphics and timings just right for those who
seek his games. He makes horror, adventure,
and action games and avoids dating sims and
others rather desperately. While he has a strong
respect for himself, he is not free from beating
himself up over little things, particularly
when he receives cruel feedback from others.

Akin is afraid of several things,
which are often the basis for what he
includes in his games. He fears bats,
heights, abandonment, and manikins.
He often gets tense and nervous
when one of these things are around
and will freeze up or run away when
one is too close to him. On the other
hand, Akin loves a few things, mostly
spiders, pumpkin seeds, and music. He
dreams of keeping a pet spider, but
Aeroth refuses. Still, he loves to sit
around chomping on pumpkin
seeds, working or watching television,
and listening to some good music.

Akin is a general sweetheart to those he cares for and is always open for a good chat, no matter what it is about. While his fears may rattle him to his bone, he will never abandon someone who is in danger, even if a bat is literally crawling up his back. He is incredibly loyal and expects the same from others. His respect has to be earned, but he will not automatically hate anyone he meets, unless they give him a good reason. Akin is incredibly generous and will almost always offer someone something of his if he has stuff to spare. He is not, however, generous with his games to anyone else except for Aeroth as that is how he earns money and he sees no reason for docking a price because someone cannot afford it when they likely have a good computer and several other games on hand, besides, his games are not a necessity of life.

Q & A!

Q: What is the story behind you hating bats?

A: Well, a long time ago when I was a kit, a bat had gotten into my room at night. Not knowing anything about it except for the fact that it matched my shine, I approached it and grabbed it. Instantly the beast turned ravenous and screeched violently while it flailed about and even bit me. I let it go and cried for about a week at even the mention of the word.

Q: If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Hollow by Cloudeater. It has such a mysterious and beautiful echo to it that I would not mind having to hear it all the time.

Q: Your room is basically a bed and a large desk with several computers and equipment, why?

A: Well, Aeroth doesn't like me having my equipment out in the hallway so I have to have it in my room. It is so large that there isn't much room for anything else besides a bed so I just made due. It isn't bad at all really, in fact it is kind of comforting.

Q: What is your most prized possession?

A: My computer set and tablet. Without those things, I would either be broke or have to take three times as long on my games.

Q: What is the worst game you've made?

A: Statistic and opinion wise, Arachie. The game recieved horrid reviews and honestly I don't blame them. It was my third game, I should have done better.

Q: What is your best game?

A: Anamnesis, both stat and opinion wise again. The game was beautiful and with the constant winding plot and twists and a generally confusing ending, players ate it up and grew obsessed. Heck, a fandom even formed from it!

Q: If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?

A: Hitting publish on Arachie.

Aeroth



Aeroth is a bit nerdy and geeky when it comes to games but she's very adventurous and brave. A bit daring sometimes but not all the time. Aeroth is a huge gamer and has a huge undeniable obsession with indie and rpg games. She is not a fan of horror games, onions, jack-o-lanterns, and actual pizza like she'll eat things pizza flavored or pizza bread but she refuses to eat an actual pizza. When she's thinking very hard or gets frustrated she bites her teeth together once very loudly. She enjoys watching action and adventure based movies with her friends. She enjoys DC and Marvel super heroes but her real heroes are: Kamen Riders, Power Rangers, and Angeal from the game Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core but keeps the fact that she loves Kamin Riders and Power Rangers a secret.





Aeroth's profession is a chef and enjoys cooking but she is thinking about becoming a video game tester since she helps Akin with testing his games all the time. As a cook her and Akin don't have to worry about going out to eat all the time since she can make a meal from scratch with almost anything. Sometimes she sneaks bell peppers into Akin's food which he hates eating. She works part time at a fancy restaurant with the tasks of coming up with the daily menus or picking the daily specials and prepping the ingredients for the day. Once those are done they let her help cook or let her off home early since the restaurant has more than enough employees to do the cooking.

Story One

It was Halloween night and the race was on. A bet made between neighbors hummed vibrantly within the home of Akin and Aeroth. In Akin's room, he suited up for battle, feeling more like he was going to war than trick or treating. Within Aeroth's room, she was tying the sash around her waist, her paws shaking slightly from excitement. The two stepped out of their rooms in unison, the metal clink of the iron claws on tile echoing through the living room. They exchanged a look and nodded, then walked foreword and grabbed their bags. Akin held the door then followed Aeroth. The outside air hit them with a freezing chill and their fur fluffed slightly at the sudden temperature. Down the street, other kalons rushed from door to door, filling their bags. The two nodded once more, then burst into a sprint. Grins spread across their faces as they raced each other to the first door. Akin knocked by slipping and banging his head on the door. When the kalon opened her door, the two grinned broadly at her and held out their bags, exclaiming "Trick or Treat!" loudly, and so, the festivities began.

It was two hours from midnight, Akin and Aeroth had already had to return home twice to swap out their bags. They raced each other down the street, but stopped dead at the sight before them. Ahead, the streetlights were absent, broken glass lying beneath them. It was empty of life except for a stray cat which roamed aimlessly. Aeroth began to step foreword, but Akin stopped her. "It's a classic horror scenario. Seriously, I've done this a hundred times in my games, we should just find another place." Aeroth's ears raised slightly. "What was that? Was the fearless Akin actually cowering out?!" Akin glared at her, but his expression slowly evolved into a grin. "Alright, let's go." The two took off into the dark part of the street towards the house. They had not gotten three yards before a rather large kalon jumped out of the shadows and collided with Akin, knocking him to the ground and causing the candy in his bag to spill. Aeroth skid to a stop and snapped at the large kalon. "Watch where you're going!" Her confident stance melted away when the large kalon grinned cruelly at her. Akin began to stand up, but hesitate as another kalons forepaws rested before him. The kalon picked up a candy and studied it. "Looks like they have good loot." It grinned at Akin and swiped his bag. "Thanks for the candy." The large kalon grabbed Aeroth's bag and yanked it away. They laughed and Akin felt his blood boil. His paws tensed and he glowered at the kalon before him. His hackles began to rise, then Aeroth's tail touched his shoulder. They met eyes and she shook her head. Akin forced himself to relax and the two watched in silence as the thieves ran off with their loot.

Story Two


Aeroth walked back with Akin towards their home as their silently grieved the loss of their bounty. Seeing their other neighbors grouped together with similar sad faces they stopped. "What's bothering you guys?" Akin asked and their neighbors replied "Our candies were all stolen by some big nasty kalons." Akin and Aeroth looked at each other then back at the neighbors. "Same with us, do any of you know where they are now?" Aeroth asked causing Akin to raise an eyebrow. One of them raised a paw "Yeah they're at the nearby park." Aeroth nodded and thought for a moment. "Akin, wait here alright?" Aeroth said breaking the silence and headed into their home. Akin frowned wondering what she was up to. When she walked out she had a candy sword, two flashlights, and a bunch of rope. "What are we going to do with those? It's kinda late to try and make a little skit for candy." Akin said shaking his head. "Oh, we're not going to do skits." Aeroth said with a glint in her eyes as she strode ahead. Akin thought for a moment following her, he figured out what she meant when she opened her mouth to speak,"We're going to go and take back the candy."

It wasn't long before they arrived at the park, Aeroth had somehow devised a plan to capture the bullies and take back the stolen candy. Akin was nervous since he was supposed to distract the candy thieves while Aeroth swooped in and tied them up. The problem was that these kalons were big and scary and could easily clobber them if they wanted. Akin shook his head and took a deep breath and sprang up flashing the flasglights and waving them around. "Hey! There's someone over there!" , "Yeah! Let's get them!" Akin heard and he ran. He couldn't afford to look back but he could hear the shouts and foot steps after him. He circled around the whole are to the candy and pretended to be cornered there. One of the big kalons snarled angrily and grabbed him. "Let him go you big bully!" Akin heard Aeroth say and saw her swing in and kicked the kalon down causing them to release their grip on them. It wasn't much of a fight but they were able to tie up the bullies and take the candy back. After a few spanks from Aeroth's gummy sword they got the bullies to apologized and released them. Akin led the way home and everyone was overjoyed at their safe return and receiving their rescued candy. Aeroth and Akin headed home with their loot and spent the rest of their Halloween night eating candy, acting out some roleplaying and playing Halloween related video games.

The Relationship of Akin and Aeroth

Akin and Aeroth, while not related by blood, have always seen each other as siblings. When Akin was first adopted into the family, Aeroth wasn't such a big fan of him. Sibling rivalry took place several times, but only served to bond the two closer. Now, they are nearly inseparable, two peas in a pod. Akin cannot fathom doing anything without Aeroth by his side, you should see his face when he is asked on a single date without the company of Aeroth. They share everything to each other, even if it is about the other, and always work to settle feuds as soon as they can. They share a dorm together in college and have separate rooms, though they are not bigger than having slumber parties every once in a while in Aertohs room, since Akin's is too cluttered. These two siblings are as close as can be and wouldn't have it any other way.
