There was a really good point made a few pages back.

How strange would ram look without horns?

The other animals are being portrayed very well with out lineart edits, so to be fair to the artist (who has made a lot of pets this month, btw) we should be happy we have Chinese New Year pets at all. I understand where you're coming from though, being dazzled by the lineart edit pup growing first spoiled us a little. X)

i'm confused about whether this is a rat or a snake
Image
yes, theres a rat on its back but the shoulder has a snake head and the tail on the dogs tail looks like one that belongs to the snake rather than the rat and also the rats tail is with it self under its feet and it kinda looks like there's a rat in the snkaes belly

That's not entirely true. For instance, the dog looked like a lamb to me at first and I thought that the rat was a squirrel because of the thick fur-like paint-over. Of course those animals don't exist in the Chinese Zodiac, but my point is that it's not quite -that- obvious which animal is which. Furthermore, since the ram has its horns, why not equally simple edits for the other animals? Rat tail, rabbit ears, monkey tail...

Its a rat ^^ The tail on the dog tail is a rat tait, and every CNY dog so far has had the picture of the animal it was bassed off of on its body ^^

That's a good point too but, how often are you on CS? Maybe, a few hours a day? And that's without Blu's schedule, she may be in college, and work, and live by herself (having to cook, clean, and manage other household duties on her own). Maybe lineart edits for every dog just didn't fit into the schedule.

I never said it was obvious either, I pointed out that even without edits we can still see which dog portrays which animal. ~

We are allowed to discuss lineart edit all we want. It is the February Discussion Thread. Neither of us are being rude to the artist or each other. Besides, you continued the conversation in your post. ~
