What are Nile River Equids?

Nile River Equids (NREs) are a sub-breed of Mustangs who were discovered to be living in Africa. They tend to range anywhere from 12 hh to 16 hh, while there have been known to be slightly smaller or larger. These horses tend to be able to sustain themselves on a minimal amount of water and food, they can travel long distances and have extraordinary stamina. The people who discovered these animals found that they were extraordinarily friendly and the braided tails are a sign that the NRE is domesticated or belongs to another person.

Personality
Skully, despite his looks, is actually afraid of nearly everything. His own shadow can spook him, don't even ask about his reflection; he's actually ran away from the water trough more then once because of it. Even though he's a giant scared-y cat he's also an extremely sweet boy, with a sweet tooth and a soft walking gait. Skully has even been known to bring the humans of the stables and even the mares apples before running away. He has an abandonment issue and will often stick beside Asp or Jack for comfort, leaving their side only when he needs to go do something else or compete in a show. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, he is scared of even his own shadow, and requires a constant companion but he is an amazing jumper and has been known to clear the pasture fences when running.
Likes
Jumping, apples, sweets, Asp and Jack, playing, stable hands and jockeys.
Dislikes
Scary stoof, bitter things, being left alone, being stuck in the stable, large crowds.
Favorite Toy
A tire tied to the end of a rope that he drags about.
Biggest Fear
Being left alone in the dark. He's scared things will come to get him when no one's looking.
Happiest Moment
When he was first brought into the Noir Ballad Stables and met Jack and Asp, the entire day was a blur because of everything that was happening but he remembers the happiness that made him feel like he was soaring.
Best Friend
Vortex is his very best friend and the two are as thick as thieves together
