"Okay! 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!" Zeak chaired on her opponent as she darteted of like a rocket. Starting to count down from five, Zeak knew it was almost time for himself to take of after the female collie and show her what being a police dog does to help you get more agility and speed. Once the 5 seconds were over, Zeak dashed after Compass.

The Collie darted ahead, her paws picking up and hitting the dirt one after another. Her thin frame showed well as the slight wind that pushed against her made her coat flatten down some against her body. She glanced behind her as Zeak began to run also. She really hoped that the head start he allowed her to have would somewhat help her out in this race. She was having fun, a grin on her pretty face as she increased speed. Just for a single moment she almost tripped over her own paws, but managed to save herself and keep running.

He looked ahead as the wind was brushing his fur as he was running. Darting faster than a dart he was slowly, but surely, catching up to Compass. I'll let her win. Zeak thought to himself and slowed down so Compass was ahead of him once more.

Upon reaching the dog park, she slid through the grass to a stop, giggling as she did. Compass had almost tumbled over herself once again, but managed to save herself carefully. She wagged her tail and pranced over to Zeak once he reached the park. "I won! How'd that happen?" She really didn't care how it happened. Compass' eyes sparkled with joy. She never won any races against the male. She bumped him with her side in a joking manner. The Collie had forgotten all about her sadness after having so much fun with him.

The male could see the excitement in the collies eyes and decided to not tell the truth. "I must of tripped on something." Zeak said. He leaned over to Compass and nuzzled her, awear that she might not like him back, he woofed. "I love you Compass."

Purely shocked at first, her eyes widened and she picked up one of her front paws, ready to take a step back. She wasn't uncomfortable however, it was just a huge shock to her. She wondered if she was dreaming, and if so she wished not to wake up. Compass pushed forward and gently pressed her snout under his, then nuzzling her nose into his neck and chest fur."I love you too." She said warmly, tail thumping on the ground after sitting close to him.

Darkfall tilts her head as she listens to him and she touches the side of Kevin's muzzle with her nose for a few seconds and sighs as she moves back. "It's alright.... you at least got to know your family..... I never got to know my family at all... let alone know if they are alive or not" her tail wraps around to the front of her paws as she looks up at the sky for a moment. "You should be glad that your alive to talk about them...."

Kevin sat immobile, as the nose of Darkfall connected with the side of muzzle. After some time of silence he would raise his cranium, shifting his gaze from staring at the glistening snow underneath him to Darkfall to see her take a few steps back. His ears gradually transitioned from droopy to erect like they had been once before. Kevin nodded, thanking her for her comfort. The large brute rose from his hunches, and took a few steps towards Darkfall, "So.." he started "Do you want to take a trip to the city?' he asked. "I know it might be risky, but.." he paused looking for the rights words, "it could be fun..I guess.." his voiced trailed off unsure if he chose the right choice of words.

His tail wagged slightly as he peered out of the window of his apartment. He wanted to go out and explore, try to make some new friends, but he knew his owners wouldn't allow it. Ben jumped back from the window and walked out of his room, making his way to his owners room. Ben walked into the room, his paw steps light. A smile ran across his face to see them still asleep for the morning. He quietly walked out and made his way to the door. He pawed at the dog door, which wasn't locked for some odd reason. He squeezed the the dog door and into the hall way. *Small time skip* He walked the streets, his paw steps a bit heavy. He looked around, thinking about where his stop would be. He made his way to the dog park. He looked around not seeing anyone, but a few dogs. He yawned a sat down.

Darkfall nods. "Sure... I like a bit of adventure once in a while, but if anything comes after us... let's just say they will have to fight me while you get away" She stands up and motions him to follow as she runs towards the fence of the dog park, gaining speed and then she jumps, barely clearing the fence and she turns, waiting for Kevin.

Kevin snorted at her remark,"Sure.." he mumbled. He then turned and watched her barley clear the park fence. He narrowed his eyes and his ears went flat against his skull, "There is no way I am jumping a fence.." he spoke under his breath. He took a few steps back and scanned the park, his eyes landing on the park gate, that happen to be open. He ears perked up along with his tail. He padded over to the fence exiting the park. He walked up to Darkfall, "Y'know the gate was open." he stated, with a smile. He switched his gaze in the direction of the city, his ears twitching to the distant car honks. "Lead the way." he insisted.
