Ravensky nodded uncertainly and then she very gently nudged the small kit. It's white fur was soft and Ravensky thought that it was the warmest she ever felt. "Come on little one, a friend of mine wants to see you," She gently nudged it again and it woke up yawning. It blinked it's eyes blearily at Ravensky and then pressed it's fur into hers. Ravensky gave it a lick and picked it up by the scruff. She then padded back to the black she-cat and set the kit down in front of her. "I've been thinking of a name for him, but I can't seem to find one that fits." she mewed before yawning. "He kept me up though at night, so I was thinking about something with the name of night in it," she mewed

[Shezza.]

"Hmm," Darkdream leaned down, she sniffed the kit. His soft fur tickled her nose. She smiled at it. "Looks like one of my old kits, Chess," she purred.

"Maybe, maybe not," Ravensky mewed and she knew it was because she was attached to this kit. Somehow he found his way to her heart. "Anyway Darkdream, could you help me take care of him? I don't know what to do," she mewed softly and then whispered."I-I've never had kits before..." and her voice trailed off as she lay her head against her paws in a laying position. The kit stared at her in worry and then pressed one paw to her face licking her cheek. Ravensky smiled saddly and nuzzled him.

"I know its not him..." A lump formed in Darkdreams throat "he was burned..alive...in a house," she shook her head. "Yes i will help you,"

Ravensky stared at Darkdream in sheer horror before wrapping the small kit to her fur, her tail curled protectively around it. "I'm so sorry Darkdream," she mewed sadly and then licked the kit's head. It let out a mew before snuggling in her fur. Ravensky turned back to Darkdream "Thank you and Darkdream I want you to be his god-mother if that's okay," she mewed. (can cats have god-mothers? XD)

Darkdream, suddenly uneasy when she was so protective of him. She shuffled her paws and looked around.

Ravensky lapped at the kit's head. Then she noticed how uneasy Darkdream was and then stopped. She thought for a moment. Darkdream lost Chess She thought and then noticed how her kit was probably like him. Whoa there! Since when is he my kit! She thought shocked for a moment and then thought some more. Since he came here she guessed and then nuzzled the kit again before she yawned. "Well Darkdream thanks for being here for me, but Owlkit and I need some sleep," she mewed before picking up the silent kit and padding away to the nursery.

Stonesight was at a loss. He didn't know what to do right then, so he sat in the center of the clearing, and let out a huge sigh of stress. He wanted to talk to Darkdream, but his legs wouldn't let him move in her direction. So he waited... Lifeless in the center of camp.

Darkdream stared after Ravensky. Anger suddenly buried her. She looked over at her fallen finch and limped over to Stonesight "hi," she mewed in a dry voice.
