Fed by a larger river in the north, the Little Rock Creek winds around the base of Cedar Ridge, dividing a fertile
strip of land near the bottom of the foothills before emptying into the bay. The creek isn't very wide, but the
region that it splits through contains different types of plants and trees on either side. Closer to the foothills,
miles of untouched spruce, fir, cedar, and other evergreens stretch thickly along the northern edge of the bank.
Across the creek, towards the south, a large variety of softwood trees dominate the area, including many species
of hedges,wild flowers, ferns, and mosses. Lately, there have been rumors of two clans living here, making their
camp on opposite sides of the shore. South of the creek lies MistClan's camp, and north of it, lies DarkClan's. For
now, they are neither enemies, nor allies; they are merely neighbors. But that does not mean much. In the past,
things have proven to change overnight. After all, they are two different breeds, with two different backgrounds.
MistClan, a native for as long as anyone can remember and DarkClan, immigrants from the mountain range,
refuges from a war in their homeland. Separated cultures with different virtues. Despite this, they are still both
akin to the rules in warrior code. Both clans look after their own young, old, sick, and wounded, they both have
similar rules and instructions on how to function as an organized clan should. Both guide their youth and prepare
them for certain situations, while teaching them to put the clan's needs before their own. Even if their territories,
abilities, personal ambitions and individual qualities are not alike, their daily routines and general objective is
similar; to secure the future of the clan.

V. be realistic. no rainbow fur, purple eyes or cats that
can defeat enemies in one second.

VI. MistClan cats have traditional warrior names such as
Nightfur, while DarkClan cats have one word names like Echo
or Hawk, and can have kittypet names like Benny or Chicago.
DarkClan also have a ranking system similar to the Tribe of
Rushing Water's.

VII. do not kill other player's cats without that person's
permission.

VIII. to avoid confusion, please use parentheses, brackets,
ect. when talking out of character and use quotation marks (")
when in character.

IX. no swearing. warrior cat swear words are ok.

X. make character speech bold, italic or in a legible
color.

XI. please retain proper grammar and spelling.

XII. disable your signature when posting on the main
thread.

XIII. minor drama is allowed, but please do not start any
major events (flood, forest fire, fox attack) without my
permission.

XIV. do not argue with other roleplayers, unless in
character. be mature and respectful towards others.

XV. spamming will not be tolerated. no advertising on
this thread, if you want to share the link to your rp or
something, post it on the discussion thread.

XVI. try to write at least three to four sentences per
reply. I understand if you have writer's block.

XVII. please use or make your own forms, it does not need
to be fancy, but it should contain general detail about your
character such as a picture, name, age, gender, rank, ect.

Juniper awoke, her mouth opening in a long yawn, her limbs stretching to their content. What a lovely morning. She thought happily, glancing outside her den before moving out to the fresh-kill pile. She glanced around for someone to share a mole or mouse with, but saw no one Everyone's probably still sleeping, or out on a patrol. Juniper thought again, glancing out into the camp center. There were a few cats wandering about, but everyone seemed content with what they were doing. The to-be's were waiting for their mentor, and the sharpclaws were preparing to hunt, or go on a patrol. She hadn't heard of any kits wanting to become a healer one day, and all the apprentices were content with their future duties as sharpclaws, so she probably wouldn't be getting a to-be anytime soon.

She sat down, glancing about, looking for someone who hadn't eaten left. Then she would be able to eat, able to share the food that the sharpclaws and to-be's had caught. It was facinating watching as the to-be's and sharpclaws came back with food, the prey dangling limply in their mouths, no a scratch to show that the animal had struggled. It was as if the prey had only lived to be caught. Do prey live in clans like we do? She wondered, lost in thought and away from distraction.

Specklednose lifted his back leg up to give the side of his neck a good scratch before he directed his attention back to his herb piles. He was never an early riser when he was a kittypet, pretty much the exact opposite. Although his long while with the clan had changed that about him, he taught himself to wake up early as he knew how busy it was to be a medicine cat. He then turned his gaze back at Twistedpaw his apprentice, he cared for the young she-cat like she was his daughter. She was hard-working and dedicated to her work and with that he felt happy that he was the one training her to become a medicine cat. The ginger tabby tom padded over and gently nudged her awake, he wanted some help from her to gather some poppy seeds since they were very low on them.

Greynose laid silently in his warm mossy nest, occasionally rolling around to find a new comfy spot. Although after a while of rolling around he rolled onto his belly and groggily lifted his head up as he looked around the den of sleeping warriors. Not wanting to disturb anyone Greynose stood up and silently padded out of the warrior's den, waiting til he got outside to shake off the loose moss that clung to his pelt. The gray and white tom padded over to a sunny side of the clearing to groom his now ruffled up pelt.

After a few days Cricketpaw had been noticing this small hole forming in the back of the apprentice's den where she slept and she realized it was big enough to fit out of. So the brown tabby silently stalked from her nest and squeezed herself out and she did. Once she was out of the hole she looked around happily realizing that she was out in the forest. This would be great for taking a morning walk without anyone knowing but.. the hole had gotten big enough at the back of the den that it was pretty noticeable. So thinking smartly Cricketpaw squeezed back in and sat down in her nest, glancing back at the hole as she pondered. Maybe if she was able to keep this somehow a secret long enough she could use it to sneak out and meet her good friend Starling.

Topaz padded happily towards the fresh-kill pile with a confident look on her face as she approuched it, although before she could pick anything she spotted Juniper sitting not that far away from her. ALthough she seemed to be lost in her thoughts as she didn't notice her. The bleu-grey she-cat felt a smirk grow on her face as she hopped in the air right next to the medicine cat's djead "Heya there Jupi!" Topaz mrewed loudly, wanting to spook the she-cat. She always loved spooking other cats and Juniper was just asking for it as she just sat there lost in her thoughts.

Juniper nearly jumped out of her fur, a she-cat leaping before her whilst she was lost in her thoughts. "Geez, next time don't do that." Juniper said, panting a little out of fear. As her clan's healer, she hadn't ever really been scared before. Everyone usually announced their entrance in her presence, as if she couldn't hear them just because she was focused in sorting her herbs. She could hear them, it was just nice when someone announced their presence. "Anyways, hello Topaz. Would you like to share a vole, or maybe a mouse?" Juniper's tone changed to her regular, happy self tone, which was more light and upbeat.

Eaglefeather spent most of the morning in his nest trying to rest his eyes because he was unable to
fall asleep last night. Despite being awoken once or twice by his neighbors as they stepped over him to
join the Dawn patrol, Eaglefeather slept through most of the noise just fine. Now that it was nearly
midday, Eaglefeather was gradually awakened by the soft white glow of sunlight shining through his
eyelids. He quietly got up and stretched before leaving the warriors den to go and sit beside one of
denmates, Greynose as the tom was grooming his soft looking pelt. "Good day Greynose." he said to
him, looking him over with a pair of tired eyes. "You look rough. I'm guessing you had a long night,
with no sleep." he gave him a watery smile.
