@nerd.: I love Aiden's hair color, reddish-browns are very pretty. I mostly dye my hair those shades.
@TenMomentsTill: I love the designs of them all, especially Barnabas. Their names sound very fancy. I give my characters plain names most of the time because I'm afraid they won't live up to cool ones.


I decided to do a fox version of one of my human characters Myra, I really like how the hair and witch hat turned out. If I do color the hair and hat it'll be fun to shade.

In the end Ry is an open story. Maybe, maaaaaaaaybe I will try to get his stuff published once in a million years buut I guess it might be too much to put in a book.
I really have a few more characters in mind to include more of the species that live in this world (I really should try to find a name for it if I think about it) and so - one more character wouldn't make a difference. I am thinking of adding Desert and Ice Folk too...because why not xD
Besides I really think it could be very interesting.

Yes, Sayeen can regrow their scales. But it is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very painful process that goes over days (3-5) and is bound to moonphases and stuff. And since only the cast out leave the water (well normally) the do not really have a reason to return to the water.

It really depends. Sayeen don't care if a cast out decides to couple with a Jiasen, in the end they are already cast out and so no longer a member of their society so it doesn't matter to them. If a non-castout decides to do they it yet ends with them being cast out so.
For Marindan it would be a huge no-go too but instead of being just rejected from society you'd probably get executed if anyone finds out.

Aztezâe and Island people are very tolerant of others and wouldn't mind it at all. Yet it doesn't really happy due to them living so completely locked away from the others.

okay, i just had one of those lightbulb ideas and since i'm looking for more hman-esque ocs i scribbled up this doodle of an idea in a few minutes

this is Dylan! He's a deer/human hybrid who is really sweet but looks kind of intimidating to approach, he can also be very irritable so hes a grump mostly, he never goes anywhere without his letterman jacket and sometimes a beanie,

@TenMomentsTill - I tend to keep hand written notes a lot now; I keep a little notebook in the case with my laptop so it's easier to just throw things down. I also find it nicer to draw links between things that way #toousedtostudying I've also started saving writing onto word documents. At the moment, I only save the writing I do with Verdana; our characters are a lot more long term than anything else and I feel like Robert is really mine. So it's nice to go back over things and build a sense of continuity in the way he behaves and makes decisions, in his experiences and emotional responses.

I love the way Ghost Ket is named after the person they haunt! I'm not sure whether that's a means of showing appreciation and respect, or kind of sad, like a finality. An offering of remembrance. It brings to mind the lyrics of Birdy's Strange birds c: Was Ghost Ket also responsible for that person's death? Do all ghosts take on the names of the people they haunt? Why is it done?

Super wowiewowie about the art of Neverous you got! That's a stunning piece, you must be so pleased! I really love the lips o.o Lmao, I feel like Barnabas right now with all my deadlines. I think I'm running almost entirely off sugar and meat xD So is he based off an actual mythological being from your country? Does he inhabit Earth in the present day? What's Ranger's home world like? Why is he concerned about people thinking he's died, does he have family and friends there still? How do they feel about his relationship with a God? How does one even go about having a relationship with a deity? RE vampires, when you say family is that literal familial relations, or is it like a coven of people who were turned into vampires?

@nerd. - What got Aiden into stargazing? Is it something he does a lot, or just in spare moments every now and again? Brought back to the gravity of something he loves?

@Sp00k - Awwwww thank you! <3<3<3 I think the characters I have fleshed out in depth are ones I've roleplayed with for a good number of years. If I didn't write with them, I don't think I'd ever be able to develop them, and I think it's why I'm struggling with Akosua ha ha. But don't let it dishearten you! Sporadic moments of muse are sure to strike, and you should never be ashamed of what you create. Better to create something than nothing, right?

So it's been so long since I posted because I tried to refrain from posting immediately after TenMomentsTill sent me this (didn't want to appear too much the overly excited fangirl), but in such restraint I ended up forgetting to post for...well a long time. But, here she is. I was trying to describe Akosua's personality to Ten for the art;


She's ruthlessly ambitious at the expensive of not just her health, but her own desires. In her dream to become the oracle for her lounge, she's simultaneously enticing a civil war to destroy all others. I wouldn't say she's inherently nasty, but she certainly lacks empathy. No recognition of limits, nothing is out of bounds or too far. The hunger for success has made her an infamous figure for a mixture of reasons; she's feared and equally distrusted. I suppose she's very predatory, very basic in her instincts. There's no conflict of emotions in that sense. It's win or it's die. There's no grey area for that.
But she's also dedicated to the deities -although she doesn't claim to be committing the acts she's doing in their name. She's doing it so she can be their mouthpiece, or their slave I suppose. So she has this twisted sense of morals through which she operates, but as twisted as they are, they're hugely important to her.



So I'm doubly thankful to Ten, not just for this incredible piece of artwork, but for inspiring me and helping me to develop her further <33333

I'm actually hoping to sit down and properly sort her out in the coming weeks along with the rest of my charries. My old character thread is such a mess and out-dated I think it needs a fair amount of tender loving care haha.

raey ~ How many different races/species do you have in your novel so far (what are their names too)? If Ry's story does get too long to put into just one book, there is always the option of splitting it into several novels. I love the slight scar through Ry's eyebrow~ How did he get it? Is he self-conscious about it or does it not bother him?

Thank you~ I feel like it's impossible to do a painting and not get covered in paint haha (I know that I at least do). Ranger didn't know Bullet was a god until a few years into the relationship. He thought that he was just dating another vampire. Basically, it was just luck that he started dating a god.

Thank you~ Barnabas is one of my favourite species I have come up with haha. Cornelius is like that one member of you family who is salty over world events that happened way before you were born. So, he's kinda grumpy, but it isn't that bad as long as you keep off any topics involving world history.

Pandle ~ Keeping a notebook by the computer is a really good idea. I'm tempted to start doing that myself.Right now, most of my OC information is all stored in my mind. I'm glad that I managed to help you develop Akosua more. How many deities do Akosua's people worship? Do all the different groups worship the same deities? Are the deities actually real or are they just a belief? Also, good luck on all your deadlines and getting your character thread updated~

Ghost Ket isn't responsible for the death of the person she haunts, but she does cause a lot of destruction in his life. Most ghosts aren't given names by the people they haunt since the majority of ghosts remember their names and don't haunt people. The reason why Ghost Ket was named by the person she haunts is because she refused to give the person her name. So, the person named her so he had something to refer to her by.

GlassesDog does some super pretty art, they made Nerverous look so good~ Barnabas isn't based off a mythological creature that I know of and it's been long enough where I can't say exactly where I got the idea for him. Barnabas lives in a world that is faintly comparable to Earth but is a while behind technology-wise compared to present day Earth.

I am currently revamping Ranger's homeworld and I'm set enough on what I want to do to answer what it's like. The reason Ranger is concerned about people thinking he's dead is that he'll lose his job (he does give it up once he marries Bullet, though). As much as Ranger loves his fiance, but he does find the fact that Bullet is a god to be super stressful. Compared to a god, Ranger knows a lot less and even after years of dating Bullet, he still doesn't have a solid grasp on god culture. Ranger wound up dating a god basically on accident. When he started dating Bullet, he thought he was just dating another vampire until a few years into the relationship. So with my vampires, to be a vampire, you have to be born a vampire. A family of vampires usually is a bunch of vampires who are literally related to each other.

Gail sells his soul to one of my demon OCs. She convinced him to do it by proposing that Gail sell her his soul while he was dying. Which would not only keep him from dying but that his life would be better from then on. In a way, selling soul did improve his life (he's guaranteed money, food, shelter, and relative safety) but, Gail now has to do whatever the demon asks him to do. Usually, what the demon wants him to do is fight people for her.

Paxton broke off from his family secretly and moved across country and moved in with his best friend, who's a human, and his family. It looks like he doesn't have fangs since Paxton files them down so he can more easily pass himself off as a human. Where he lives it is generally pretty hostile towards vampires. Paxton also works as a gunsmith with his best friend.
Out of my vampires, Paxton is the fastest.

Keagan works in a jewelry store. His family is made up of vampires that were kicked out their family (his parents were kicked out of their families, Keagan hasn't been kicked from a family).

I'm currently renaming her and redoing her story, but she lives in the same world as Barnabas. Granted it is several hundred years into the future. She works as an airship pilot for the military of her country. She marries into the same god family that Ranger does; Ranger marries the youngest sibling and she marries the oldest. Unlike Ranger, she rarely leaves her homeworld since her job has large time requirements and it would be quickly noticed if she left.

Does she fly in that outfit or does she have another one for flying? Does she work on her own plane/airship/etc.? How skilled of a pilot is she? How long has she been flying?
