Silverblaze looked at her kits smiling at them "Oh they are amazing" But something was wrong she had been observing the kitting and yowling in pain. but she had 5 kits "Nettlepool thank you, but-" She gave a motherly glance at him "didn't i have five?" She had remember that mosskit had died seconds after birth. she saw firepaw, talonpaw, neddleheart, greyclaw, and her half sisters and bothers,rosepaw, larkpaw, and hopepaw all rushed to greet the new kits. whitesong padded over and locked a worried glance at nettlepool "I have a cool may you check?" The she-cat rasped

Nettlepool stopped the rush of cats with his tail. 'Wait! Don't all go in at once, it could overwhelm the kits and their mother. One or two at a time please.' He said after taking the kit away. He gave a sad smile to Silverblaze then turned to Whitesong. 'If you have a cold, come with me to the medicine den. I don't want you around the kits, they can get sick very easily.'

Rookpaw-Tags-Hunting patrol

Rookpaw nodded once more, then got back into the hunting crouch. Stalking forward, he noticed a small robin pecking at the ground near a tree. Settling down a few mouse lengths away, the cat prepared himself to leap. Bunching his muscles, he did exactly as he was told, and left forward. The robin squawked in terror, trying to flap its wings to flee. Rookpaw landed whiskers away. "Mousedung!" He cursed, as the bird went airborne. Suddenly, he found himself going back into a crouch, and springing upward instinctively. The apprentice managed to claw on to its wings and bring it down, the bird limp in his jaws as he fell back towards earth. "Ouch."Rookpaw meowed as he landed ungracefully on his side.

She smiled slightly. "You were a mouse brain but now you know better." She ducked back into the nursery and sat next to Nettlepool. "Sorry that took so long." She gazed at the kits.

"yes" She let her kits suckle her and smiled at them Silverblaze looked at a little brown tom 'You will be called oakkit" She meowed then looked at a silver tabby she cat with blue eyes "I will name you Featherkit" She looked at a dark red tabby tom "You will be named alderkit" And then looked at a grey tabby she kit with green eyes "And you, my first born will be named twigkit" She looked around knowing one of her kits were in star clan She looked at the still body of a black-and-white tabby tom " and you, will be brokenkit" She stared at her dead kit broken, dead. away. She staired as her kits suckled

(Wait, wasn't it Alderkit, Oakkit, Birchkit and Twigkit? Which kit am I playing?)

Nettlepool took the new names Brokenkit and carried him out of the nursery, to bury. After he had done that, he solemnly walked to his den to treat Whitesong's cold.

Fallowfeather heard the commotion about Silverblaze kits and smiled. 'It will be great to have some kits running around the place.' She said, mainly to herself

Featherkit blindly wandered around her mother mewling and crying mostly always staying beside her mother's side as silverblaze's gentle lick calmed her to sleep her small body falled into a sleep next to her warm mother


Lilian ignored rust for a bit listening to parts he thought was interesting. "Tani i smelled clan cats" He walked closer to her comforting sent "and heard them they are near hunting" She guessed tasting the air before dropping the rabbit at her paws "wanna share my catch?' He asked.

Rosepaw let out a mrrow of laughter when rookpaw missed his catch "watch and learn mouse brain" She teased she lurched her belly to the forest floor. slowly creeping up on her prey waited a bit before pelting at it with one paw claws unsheathed. Grabbing it and moving her mouth closer biting it and pushed her jaw harder killing it softly "Thanks starclan for giving these lives of prey for us" she preyed

Alderkit mewed, curious about the new sensations all around him.

Nettlepool stood by his herbs. 'Okay, Whitesong, please explain your cold to me.'

Twigkit yawned feebly, staying close to her mother's warmth.

"My stomach hurts, i have been coughing up some of my prey sometimes" She confessed "and well i keep coughing" She sneezed and then blinked her pain away.


featherkit started to silts of light and then it all went full "I opened my eyes!" She annouced. jumping with joy Silverblaze shot her a happy look. "Hey alderkit, twigkit, oakkit wanna play outside!" She yelped ad raced outside.
