"I mean, their other cats said that I was about to be attacked by one the clan cats, but now that I think about," She said and paused. "I feel like they were lying to me." She dug her claws in the dirt.

The cat purred a little. "She's not really my mate, and I know," he mewed quietly, yet playfully.Rookpaw, then sniffed the air for any signs of other prey scampering about the field.

Spottedeye purred. "Okay, okay." She looked around for prey to see a small mouse. "There, do what I told you. Focus." She mewed quietly.

It was very amusing to watch Tani. Even thougg he barely knew her, he felt as if she was right. Rust had always thought twolegs were sketchy and suspicious, and here was proof kittypets and twolegs lied to others. "A tragic story, really, but I suggest you to not take my word for it. It was just an idea," he said, but he actually wanted her to believe the idea. After all, it msde sense. The flashbacks, the faint memories of a sibling.

She looked at him. "Yeah, I mean, I just don't know anymore." She looked around and sat down. "I guess my whole life could be a lie."

He wanted to cheer her up, but he didn't know how. Rust decided to help her figure things out and solve her problem. Sitting next to her, he asked, "Have you seen him, ever? Your 'possible' brother, that is. Did you see him ever while in the yard or anything lile that?"

"I don't really see other cats outside often." She said, thinking. "I mean, I sometimes hear cats and I saw one hunting once before, but I don't think he was in a clan. He was alone." She looked to Rust. "Kinda like you."

Rust cocked his head to the side. It wasn't that he didnt understand, he did. But be rarely saw any other loners besides himself, and thought it was interesting. "I see." He thought for a second. "Do you think he's still out there?" He blurted out quickly. "I mean, if he knew his sister was here, then he would most likely not leave. I say you're not a full blooded kittypet after all."
