You sleep soundly in your nest,basket, or whatever you are sleeping in at the moment. You suddenly walk in your dreams seeing a large black tom with white dapples being prosecuted and banished. You wake to daylight confused and curious. When you sleep again this cat and his companions are traveling and you seem to be with him. "Lostsarrow, when will we find a place to settle?" said a scrawny pale grey she cat. "Soon dawnlight soon. I feel it." You look at these cats and notice some are slim, long-legged, web pawed, but have powerful back legs. The others are more broad in the shoulders, web pawed, yet still have powerful back legs. Each night you dream of these cats until one night the one they called Lostsarrow pads up to you. "I am Loststar leader and founder of Lost Clan. You have walked with us in your dreams. Find Snakestar he is the current leader of Lost Clan. They need more paws and you are one of many that can."

Then next day you wander into the woods. You look at the place with little undergrowth then a cat leaps out of a tree and one from a tunnel. "You are trespassing now you will come to our leader." They take you to a large unusual tabby marked tom. "Snakestar we found them on our territory......"
