I suggest not sacrificing your own well being for a small chance at something. There's usually hundreds of applicants and only a few get the position. So it's not a good idea to get a new computer solely for that, you know?

There's still a chance. If I don't succeed this time, I've got a new computer and only a small window of time I need to penny pinch and live off those slim pickins I mentioned. I still think it's worth a try.

It's definitely worth applying if you think you meet the criteria, but you don't need to have a computer now to send in your app, just let us know your situation if you do get chosen to be a mod

I would sign up, I got time and experience but 1 in 10 changes of getting the position.

Id say have a shot at it, you never know. Just make sure your old enough and if your not you can always wait for the general helpers spot to be open. As long as your not a coppa player ☺

Damn.... I wish websites excepted people under 18 to be mods and stuff like that... In my opinion, it's kind of unfair and a bit of prejudice against age because people under 18 might be able to handle r-rated things and other inappropriate things (I know this was mentioned).

These are the rules they do allow them for general helpers unless your a coppa. The only reason the rules are here are to help tess and every other person, without the rules they would get complaints. From parents, you may think your mature enough but your really not im not sure if you would even be able to handle it. I thank tess and the mods for the rules.

Its a way to cover their butts. YOU may feel you are able to handle r rated stuffs, and you might actually be able to, but do your PARENTS think so? This is to prevent lawsuits and such. I've seen times where mods on diff sites had to remove links and pictures to verrry X rated sites...can you imagine what parents would say to Tess if they happened to notice their 12,13,14,15 (and yes even 16 or 17) year old child handling such material? By only allowing those who have obtained the 'adult' status Tess is protecting herself, Chicken Smoothie as a whole, and us :3 For that I appreciate and thank her <3
