You can get a timer easily, just look up 'five minute timer' or something and you should be able to find an online one.

Now, back on topic, can I just say I am really excited for nano? I'm doing the Young Writer's Program and set my goal to only 10k, which I still won't complete, but oh well. I have space pirates and they are gonna be great.

Eh, it's hard to say. I say you should try it, and if you don't like it, you don't ever need to do it again.
