As she called out his name, he scowled and stood up from his hiding spot. "Tch.." Isamashii merely shrugged while glaring in the opposite direction. "No, I haven't." With his lip curled up, he said, "Don't get in the way." He turned and stalked off, clicking his tongue in dissaproval.
Ando had his back to a tree, holding a kunai up to his chest. His hand trembled slightly as he looked around the bark nervously. With his other hand, he placed it on his heart, trying to calm it. In a little while more, the smoke would clear. Then, he would look for the jonin. A branch cracked near by, causing him to flinch.
Isamashii reacted quickly, bringing up a kunai to deflect the weapon that was thrown at him. With a snarl, he pushed the genin up against a tree, holding him tightly by the collar of his shirt. With Ando against the bark, he narrowed his eyes, "Do you have a problem?"

As the smoke started to clear more Kinata turned towards the tree Isamashii had Ando pinned against. ‘At this rate we’re never going to find sensei.’, she thought. Sighing she pulled out a shurikan and whiped it towards the two chunin. It missed them by a few inches and lodged itself into the bark of the tree instead. Kinata then walked over to themand stopped two feet behind the young Uchilia. “Would you two idiots stop it allready? We’re on the same team and we’re going against sensei whose a seasoned jonin. Unless we start acting like a team all three of us are going to be dropped from the program permenetly.” Kinata walked over and pulled her shurikan out of the tree trunk before facing the two again. “Look I have an idea. I’ve seen dad practice a lot before and he’s used his wind jutsus in combination with his fire jutsus to strengthen the fire’s effect and power.”, she took a breath, “So once we find sensei Ando can use his Shadow Possesion to stop him from escaping. Then if Isamashii and I use our jutsus together the wind will make t he fire jutsu stronger and we have him!”

Koinu and Shakino walked over to Sakai and Hokori. “It’s a trap if ever there was one. There’s no way an ex-Anbu like Sai sensei would just leave a so obvious path for us to fallow otherwise.” Shakino eyed the path Sakai and Hookori had found not sure what to do. On the one hand it was so obvious it had to be some kind of trap. On the other it could very well be not a trap. “I can’t pick up any other chakras then our own with my Byakugan. And at the moment it’s our only lead to get out of here. Do we really have a choice?”, Koinu added.

"Hmph.. He isn't worth the time." Isamashii pushed Ando against the tree again, not-so-gently like last time before stepping back as the genin rubbed his head with a wince. He closed his eyes, seeming to be ignoring the partles of the girl. When he spoke again, it suprised Ando to hear him comment. "You're forgetting something." Isamashii said, narrowing his eyes.
"Oh, and pray tell, what is that?" Ando said sarcastically, getting up. The recent collision with the tree didn't help much to brighten his mood, and the rude Uchiha wasn't really doing anything to improve his temper either.
Isamashii chose to ignore that comment, waving a hand in dismissal in the direction of Ando to show it. He glanced back at Kinata before saying again, "You're forgetting that Sora is a jonin. He won't be caught with a simple technique like that. Furthermore, he's a wind jutsu user, which gives the possibility that he could always change the direction of the wind and cause our jutsu to backfire." Ando was about to open his mouth to interrupt when Isamashii continued on slowly, "Lastly, even if we do manage to snare him, there are only two bells with Sora. If you take a head-count, you'll see that there are three of us.. One of us won't make it."

Sakai smiled, "It's a pretty path isn't it?" He smirked and murmured under his breath darkly, "Shame you won't be able to take it." The genin leapt back just as a net seemed to have materialized out of the sky. Sakai had cut the wire, dropping a heavy net around the others. He had weighted it with rocks for good measure, just in case the net worked. He waved a kunai in the air appologetically, "Sorry, sorry. No hard feelings, huh Koinu? Shakino?" Walking around them with his hands behind his back, he hesitated before resuming his confident speech, "I really don't want to leave, but somebody has got to get the advantage, right? Don't worry, I'll come to get you back later. But for now.." Sakai took out a smoke bomb from his pocket, he threw it down sharply, calling out happily, "Adios!" With a whistle, he beckoned Hokori to him and they ran off.
Sai shook his head at the greed of the young Inuzuka. It was obvious that this was going to present a problem to the two girls and to the team. He sighed and rethought his words, "The first one out.. Well, let's say that person gets an advantage that no team has gotten before." The teacher leaned back against the tree he was up on, hoping that the genin would realize that his challenge wasn't made to pit team-mates against each other. It was quite the opposite.

When he was sure he had put enough distence between himself and the other three Sora stoped on a tree branch. 'There. That should give me enough time to stop and think for a moment but I can't stay here too long and risk them finding me. Of course they could be so preocupied fighting eachother that they forget the task all together. What was Naruto thinking assigning the three of them to the same team?', Sora thought. He closed his eyes briefly to consider his next move before he opened them. "Well now. Time to see just how much they learned.", and Sora took off in search of one of the genin with the bells jingling lightly as they bumped together.
Kinata growled slightly. She had expected something like this to happen during the task. But realizing there was nothing she could do to convince Isamashii or go agaainst his logic she gave up. She turned to Ando, "See yeah later." And Kinata too took off in the opposite direction Isamashii did in search of Sora.

"Sakai Inuzuka! You're dead when we get out of here!", Shakino yelled after her teamate ranting. Rikka growled and barked after the two as they took off in disapprovel. Koinu sighed and took out a kunei before she cut the net so the two kunochis could get out. "It's no use Shakino. I can't pick their chakras up with the Byakugan anymore...they're gone ahead. But something's bothering me. Surely something's up. A former Anbu like Sai sensei wouldn't leave a path like this that leads straight to the exit without some kind of obstical right?", Koinu asked Shakino. Shakino stoped her rant and loked at Koinu, "Yeah unless he was careless." But the young Nara didn't get the impression Sai was careless when they first met at all.

Isamashii snorted and left without a word of good-bye, leaving Ando alone. It was easier to work alone, though Isamashii, as he balanced precariously on a tree. Wordlessly, he took out kunai, his mind flashing back to the one he had thrown earlier. Unknowingly, his grip tightened on the weapon. His plan would come into play eventually, there was no need to worry about that. He continued on, his eyes flicking from left to right as he thought of his next plan of action.
Ando instinctively looked in the direction that Kinata left. He began to follow her, but then thought better of it. Almost sulking, he chose a different path than his other team-mates, walking along the forest floor. His first thought was to set a trap. If it could catch wild animals, why not jonin? Without thinking better of it, he set to work. Ando partially buried a net among the bushes and covered it with leaves to obscure it. He placed a trip wire around the perimeter, so that if someone ventured near it, it would activate the trap.
Isamashii stopped mid-jump as he saw a head poking out from the bushes. He held his kunai at the ready, poised to throw it when the familar hair-style of his team-mate Ando popped out. He stifled a groan but his interest piqued as he noticed Ando setting up a trap. At least he was thinking, the Uchiha thought.

[Lol. XD Shakino's yell made me laugh.]

Sakai slowed to a stop as he panted softly, glancing slyly at his partner in crime. "Ha.. Ha.. W-we did it didn't we, Hokori?" The small dog barked, leaping into the air joyously. Sakai stifled laughter and looked around, taking a look of his surroundings. He looked down, making sure he was still on the path before crossing his arms. For once, he adopted a serious face of concentration. "How long have we been walking, Hokori? Five, six?"
The dog barked again, nudging Sakai's foot with his head.
"True that. About seven.. Well!" He got up abruptly, clapping his hands on his face. "Let's get going. The net won't hold them forever.. And I wouldn't want to be there when Shakino.." He grimaced and nodded quickly, "Enough chat, let's go then. I can't even think about it."
Sakai ran for a few more minutes before he stopped once more, his face a mask of confusion as the path began to slope down steeply. Cautiously, he peered over the edge of the hill only to find that he couldn't even make out the ground. Hokori bristled and growled, indicating that he didn't approve of this situation either. "Well what do you think we should do?" Sakai retorted, crossing his arms. "We can't exactly go back into their 'welcoming' arms now can we?"
Hokori barked, shaking his head.
"Well what is that supposed to mean? Point is, we can't go back." Sakai turned his attention back to the abyss, blinking nervously as he bent down. "Let's see how deeply this goes.." He picked up a rock and let it drop, turning his ear to the hill side as he waited for the clatter of rock among dirt. Moments passed before Sakai got up, rubbing his head angrily. "Gah.."

Sai judged that the test would start now. He quickly drew on a scroll, murmuring softly before his jutsu activated..

"Damn it!" Sakai sent a showever of pebbles down with an angry kick. He checked from left to right to see how far this cliff spanned, but after five minutes of walking, he gave up irritably and deemed it was endless. Now, he sat down sulking, trying his best not to think of the wrath he would recieve when his team-mates finally caught up.

Kinata kept walking though the forest rubbing her head. "Man who knew someone could...AHH!", Kinata yelled and jumped out of the way just in time. Out of seemingly no where a net had droped and landed on the spot Kinata had just been seconds ago. 'A trap!', she thought. "Well at least you managed to dodge that one. Your father sometimes talked about how he fell for the trap. Good thing you seem to have Sakura's quick reaction time.", a familer male voice laughed. Kinata turned to see her sensei. "Now then let's begin shall we? Shinobi battle skills rule number one: Taijutsu. Hand-to-hand combat.", Sora lept at Kinata having put the metal claw away and made a fist. Kinata ducked only to be knocked skidding across the ground by a round-house kick from the jonin.

Isamashii fidgited with the kunai, deciding whether or not he wanted to spring the trap that Ando had set. In the end, he decided against it. If the genin caught something, Isamashii was pretty sure he could wrestle his way in and plunder what Ando had gotten anyways.
Ando looked up, noticing the Uchiha looking away obviously deep in thought. With a smirk, he lowered himself down and manuevered himself so that he was directly underneath Isamashii. He grinned impishly and began to untangle the second net wrapped around his shoulders. Softly as to not to disturb the Uchiha, he slid over to the right and began judging the wind-distance. A smile flitted across his normally calm features. He whistled sharply with one hand, "Oi!"
Isamashii turned, jolted out of his thoughts by a heavily weighted net. He fell backwards, fortunately landing ontop of a bush where he grimaced as the wound he had gotten earlier reopened by that attack. He looked up to see Ando standing over him with arms crossed and a confident air around him. "You thought you could spy?"
Isamashii scowled and began to weave some signs. Before he could finish, Ando had fled. Isamashii got up angrily after tossing the net aside. He turned and ran after, swerving to the right suddenly as he accidentally sprung the trap that Ando had placed earlier. With Ando's laughter in his ears, he sped after the genin, his knuckles white as he clenched onto the handle of the kunai tightly.

A good few minutes into the chase, Ando had heard a curious noise. He stopped, holding a hand up to indicate Isamashii to stop. Suprisingly, Isamashii did because of the sign that Ando had made. Ando pressed his fingers to his lips and brought his hand over to indicate himself. 'Follow.' Isamashii nodded, keeping close behind the genin, his hand poised for attack.
Ando took a look over a bush just as Kinata was knocked side-ways, causing him to duck quickly. Turning to Isamashii, he related the news quickly, "Sensei." He murmured in a low voice. "With Kinata. I don't think she'll beat him.."
Isamashii nodded, knowing that he did not have to look to confirm that the two were there. "Should-"
"We team up?" Ando suggested, reaching the same conclusion. "Yeah." He hated having to work with the Uchiha, but out there, Kinata couldn't win. Not in her current state at least.. "Are you in?" He murmured, extending a hand.
Isamashii took it and gave it a firm squeeze. He nodded once more and began to move back, saying in a low voice. "Fan out."
"And then we'll do as Kinata suggested!" Ando blinked just as he remembered what Isamashii was trying to get at. "Understood.. I'll restrict him."
The Uchiha pressed his fingers to his headband and saluted briefly before he said, "Good luck." Then he seemed to have been swallowed up by the grass behind him.
Ando nodded and began circling to get behind Sora. Once he was, he began to form his hand-signs when he saw the reflected light off of Isamashii's head-band. He knew that the Uchiha was in position. 'Let's do this.' He formed the last sign- "Shadow possession jutsu!" A thin snake-like shadow seemed to hiss with movement as it sped towards the Jonin, searching for Sora's shadow to latch onto.

Sakai stood up as his ears picked up sound. Nervously, he said aloud, "K-koinu?" When he got no answer, Sakai stood up, walking over to where he thought the source was. "Shakino, this isn't funny.." He said anxiously, his eyes flicking from side to side as he tried to locate his partners.
Hokori looked up from his position on the ground as Sakai walked by. He barked suddenly, causing Sakai to jump.
"H-hokori?! What's wrong?" Sakai snapped his head back to shout over his shoulder. The moment he did, the ground rumbled, causing him to slip and fall back. He covered his face with his arms as pieces of soil and rock flew right and left. Ignoring the cuts, he looked up with wide eyes.
Sai sat back, looking up as he heard a frantic shout from over the cliffs. "Euaaaghhhhh!!!" The jonin crossed his arms, looking over to where the two kunoichi were. 'Come on..' He thought, returning his gaze back to Sakai's plight.

Sakai was frozen on the ground, his eyes wide with fear as a huge snake reared back, moving back and forth hypnotically. It hissed loudly and opened its mouth, revealing fangs coated with venom. A blast of warm air from its hiss blew into the terrified Inuzuka's face.

“What the!?” Sora was genuinely surprised when he discovered he couldn’t move all of a sudden. He glanced down at his shadow and his breath cought for a minute. His shadow and Ando’s were connected and formed a single large shadow between the two. ‘So Ando managed to catch me with his Shadow Possesion? Not good. But it’s only the two of them. WHAT!?’ Sora noticed Isamashii not too far off then. ‘Damn! They’re better then I gave them real credit for! I never expected them to actually work together so early on in the task!’
Kinata was just as surprised as Sora was. Shakily Kinata stood up onto her feet. Sora’s kick really knocked the wind out of her but she was starting to catch her breath again. “Ando!? Isamashii!? What are you two doing here?”, she asked shocked and slightly confused. Not too long ago the three had choosen to split up. Now they were working together all of a sudden? At first she thought it was a genjutsu of some sort. She made a single hand sign, “Release!” But nothing changed. After that it didn’t take Kinata too long to realize what the others were doing.

The jutsu collided head first with the side of the large snake’s head sending it crashing sideways into several tall trees. Koinu landed next to her brother and Hokori with Rikka growling at her side, “Cutting it a little close Sakai? Shakino?” Shakino appeared leaping to the ground from a high tree branch. She completed a set of hand signs, “Shadow Neck Bind jutsu!” Her shadow extended into a claw-like hand and wraped around the great snake strangling it and causing it to thrash around wildly. Shakino raised an eyebrow, “Koinu wanna finish it?” Koinu completed a set of hand signs and focused her chakra creating visiable needles. “Chakra Needle!”, and the needles flew at the snake hitting it causing it to explode and ink ink to shower down on the team.

Isamashii ran towards Kinata quickly. He skid across the ground and began forming hand-jutsu quickly. At the same time, he began to speak. "We're going along with your plan. Are you ready?" Bird, Boar, Horse, Tiger - His hands claped together -
"Now!" Ando tensed, shouting in excitement to his team-mates.
"Katon! Goukakyuu no jutsu!!" Isamashii pressed his hands to his mouth and exhaled flames. He closed his eyes, hoping that Kinata would combine her power with his.

Kinata nodded. When Isamashii had completed his jutsu Kinata imedietly completed her own set of hand signs. The wind picked up and swirled around her. "Ok then. Wind style! Scattering Flower Dance!", Kinata called having completed her jutsu hoping that it worked. For a moment she was tense and held her breath not sure what was going to happen. Then the tornado of wind and razor-like flower petals cought up to Isamashii's fire jutsu. THe young Uzamaki's wind-based jutsu did exactly as she had seen happen with her father's jutsus....it fallowed directly behind the fireball. In return this then provided the fireball with a greater burst of speed, some growth in size and...thus...power. It slammed directly into Sora and sent him flying.
'So that was their plan then was it? I expected something like this from Ando and Kinata but Isamashii too? Definetly underestimated them. Who knows....they might even surpasss their parents at this point. I'll have to be more carefull from now on then.' Sora flipped in mid air and landed on a rock not to far away facing the three genin. Though the jonin was still on his feet the direct hit from the wind enhanced fireball combined with not being able to dodge it took a number out of him. He was breathing heavily just from the impact of the one combined attack. 'They cought on quicker then I thought they would.', Sora thought.
