.....greypaw groaned half-heartily and gave a curt nod, instantly taking her advice without even thinking about it because he had his utmost trust in her. he stood to his paws, gathering all of his strength, and gave a half smile of triumph as he stood on his paws, stable. though his head was throbbing and he needed immediate medical attention from either fadedecho or beetlenose, both would be suitable as of right now. "my head..." he complained, forgetting about the advice that she literally just told him about.

"Greypaw just don't talk. Please." She asked him softly like she was talking to a kit. Before Greypaw had a chance to stumble she threw her shouldewr under his.

he leaned on the smaller apprentice for support, his heart racing wildly, as if his every step depended on his survival. for some unknown reason, his breathing steadied and he felt safe with her. with every step, a moan of agony and pure determination hit. not only was the world still spinning underneath his paws, but he felt like lilypaw and him were the only ones alive as they made their way to camp. once they arrived he was relieved and instantly his small and fragile frame collapsed onto the dust. at once, several cats heads shot up in alarm and many rushed over, crying out for help frantically.

his head shot up from his paws, awakening from his soundful sleep. uneasily, he stood up and didn't bother to wake beetlenose as he raced out of the den. he rushed over to the commotion in an instant. everyone seemed to be looking at lilypaw with questions glares, demanding explanations. "what happened?" he asked calmly.

his dull dark blue eyes widened in shock and he lifted a paw to feel his head. "i need beetlenose, can someone go fetch her for me please?" he called. as much as he wanted to say he could do this independently, he really couldn't. fadedecho was blind and couldn't really get a good understanding on where he had injured his head. he was good at healing wounds but not injuries.

The small she-cat raced over to the Medicine den and entered it."Beetlenose?"She asked aloud and raced over to where the she-cat lay and poked her softly.

he beamed as greypaw slept peacefully in an unoccupied nest inside of the medicine cat den, lined with lichen and fresh moss. he was relieved that beetlenose and himself had been able to treat greypaw and heal his injuries. with a clump of moss in his jaws, he trotted outside and dipped it into a fresh puddle of water, heading back and pushing it gently over to the patient. "here, drink up." fadedecho murmured and left him alone.
