Elara's fingers tapped against the carved stone of her throne before her head suddenly tilted at the noise that emanated from the halls, her fingers stilling as her gaze landed on the entrance. The queen clasped her hands together and drew back as her lips curled into a partial smile as the two approached, her second-in-command hunter, the other a nobleman. Pinning her gaze on the man for only a brief moment, an unfamiliar face with something she couldn't quite place, she then glanced back to Korsia. "Second-in-Command," her voice drawled out as she dipped into a bow, then the man. "You may rise." She shifted her posture in her throne, blue orbs set on the two, occasionally only eyeing the nobleman as though beckoning him to introduce himself. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Second-in-command, huh?" Chase thought with a smirk as the Queen addressed the so-called 'servant'. So there were two of them here right now who were faking their appearance. At the Queens consent, Chase snapped out of his thoughts and straightened himself and looked at the queen once again. "Thank you, your majesty. And, my name Is Chase. Chase Wilknot. I come from a city a couple days journey from here in seek of residence and employment. You see, in my city the Monsters are a pressing threat and one day while I was away for business, they came into my home and slayed my entire family. There is no longer nothing left for me there, so I left the city to hopefully put the past behind me. I have much wealth from my past employment, so I can afford to live in the city. So, my question to you is, will you allow me residence?" On the inside as he gave his speech, Chase was wilting with the pressure of deceit. God, how he hoped she believed him. If not, he could enforce his glamour on her and try to will her to believe him, but with a figure of such power and authority as her, it would be risky. Too risky for his current situation.

She seemed to perk at the mention of humans using string and stood to her full height again. What else did she know about humans, other than their ability to use string like spiders? But before she could voice this, another question burst forth. "The ... odd one?" Did she mean Kenai? There would be no way she could get assistance from him. He didn't seem fond of the idea of having her around. What if he purposefully misinforms her to get her kicked from this camp? No thank you. She shook herself and exhaled softly, though jumped slightly at the exposure of her teeth again. "I wish to explore. Is this ... all right?"

He laughed at the joke, especially when Shikira's stomach added its protest. "Alright, it is this way." He started to lead the way through the crowd, being careful to not brush against anyone.

Orchid soon began to follow Kieran through the maze of people, and made sure to stay close. She turned and twisted through the groups, for she didn't want to bump into anyone and potentially start a fight. With Kieran in front, Orchid couldn't see beyond his tall figure, but she trusted his direction. The female was glad that she wasn't the only one that was starving, and with Shikira's comment, they'd be sure to get to the tavern without anyone passing out from hunger. In fact, Orchid also noticed something from their conversation.. Kieran had actually laughed. Smiling proudly as if she had accomplished something, the young elf tapped Kieran on the shoulder before speaking. " I didn't know you had a sense of humor. It seems that I've learned something today. "

She narrowed her eyes in a confused expression, and simply bowed her head. "I suppose." But if the teasing names persisted, she would fly off and explore things herself. After all, she was one of them... Wasn't she? She looked out at the sanctuary again, trying to take it all in at once. But it was proving to be rather difficult. "Where first?"
