Okay, so at the moment I have been collecting tokens and then spending them. At the moment I only have 1 token, but I think I have everything from Day 1 and Day 2. c: YAY I AM SO HAPPY

Next goal is to get everything from Day 3.

The rarity of a pet depends on how many of them there are compared to the number of active users on the site. For event pet rarities, the most important factors are how popular a pet was and how many outcomes came from the same box. Because the more different outcomes there are, the harder it will be for people to get all of them (since you need to trade in more tokens and have a higher chance of ending up with doubles of something).
If one box gives you only 2 different outcomes, and another has 5, but both boxes get adopted the same amount of times, then the pets from the first box will be more common than the ones from the second, because statistically there's gonna be more of those two outcomes in circulation than of any of the ones in the box of five.
Popularity matters, too, though, because if an adopt isn't as popular, less people will adopt it, especially if they only need one of them for their collection. More popular pets are adopted more often because they make better trade fodder, too.

The bats usually come in pretty large batches, and they tend to be growing pets, so you have to wait to see which outcomes you got and which you missed.

Due to how much effort it takes to get the tokens for prize pets (one hour of hunting just to get a pet that costs 3 tokens), the token pets from events constantly end up at least uncommon.
